You can switch between the 2nd slot depending on whether you want to prioritize damage or survivability. Or if you're confident enough in your dodging ability, go for Air Waltz all the way.
Support/Specialist characters are really something in this game. Not only does their kit provide useful utility, but they also fill in the role of other legends. For example, Goldie not only provides healing but can also act like a Vanguard and even counter them hard. Loren, on the other hand, is almost perfect. She has most of the utility you'd want. Her ult can auto-camp point for you, she can pogo stick people out of the play area, and she deals good damage, almost rivaling Assassins. If you can work with her general sluggishness and slow recovery times, she's pretty much unbeatable in most scenarios, unless you're matched with a good Kurenai or Molly. Those two can counter everyone, hehe.
The upcoming patch (5/9) is buffing Ravi, and I'm all for that. I haven't used him in a long time because most of the recent legends released pretty much counters him hard.
