This is my main Freelance for 76ers, such and underrated freelance because it sort of gives Embiid an isolation for a time, also good for getting pick and roll from the wing, then getting Harden a 1v1 at the corner.
@@ProjectElevate my favorite branch so far is initiated from a high PNR on the side away from the C. Gets a Pick and Fade from the 2, 3 or 4, depending on who's there, and then I'll usually call the 5 over for a second pick manually. Turns out *very* nice and gives a lot of options
For the most part yes. The Philly Elbow is more effective than last year just due to cuts being more effective. Triangle runs a pinch more smoothly. Jazz, I’d still use primarily offline but it runs the same. Warriors runs the same.
Try to think of freelances as something to put you in a position to score in a particular way. I don’t run point much so can’t speak on it much. I see Princeton as some to run for half of a quarter, one or twice per game if the opponent is playing smother/deny defense with help defense off. It will get you great cuts to the basket. Delay is better at getting you open catch and shoot opportunities with some good cutting actions if shots aren’t there. I also use the Philly Elbow Freelance often. There’s a tutorial on it from 2k22 but it works exactly the same in 2k23
I don’t use the point freelance often, I ran it a little way back in like 2k20 or 2k21. Princeton is a very structured offense that I don’t think you should run ALL GAME. It’s best when used for a quarter or half of a quarter to give a totally different look to your opponent, especially if they’re overplaying by running smother / deny /no help defense. If you’re going to run 1 freelance all game long, the Point Freelance is more modern with better modern spacing. I don’t remember the specific branches of the point freelance though, so I can’t go into too much detail about how to best attack with it.
@@ProjectElevate for you which is the best freelance now? Without counting the 5 out freelances bc Im on a online league where I cant use 5 out so I need another freelance
I can tell you the freelance I use most often is the Philly Elbow. I have a video tutorial from 2K22 on my channel and it works exactly the same in 2k23.
I love the triangle and I’ve run it online with some success but the Princeton Chin actually surprised me at how effective it can be. I like the triangle when I’m using a card like Kobe, MJ or even like Carmelo Anthony and I want to work from the pinch post or get that cross lane cut to the post to go to work. In general, it’s just good to have different options to get good looks.
yessir, love the content brother. these type of freelance breakdowns were what first drew me to your channel 💯
Appreciate that bro! I was actually surprised at how effective this freelance can be online. Definitely a hidden gem.

I ran this freelance a lot a few years ago. I'll still use it occasionally when my second unit is on the floor.
My suggestion would be to try Piston Snap. Has a few really solid PnR branches that I've really liked mixing in so far this year!
I’ll look into it, I labbed it a bit last year but haven’t at all this year. Always trying to expand my understanding though.

@@matthewbless3335 is that the freelance name?
@@tonysavage11 yeah!
I love this video man! I was wondering if your freelance videos from nba 2k22 are just as effective in nba 2k23? For example the jazz motion.

Point, princeton chin or delay 21? Which is better for you?
