I personally did not have a problem with Aish speaking so much, just that the actual content being communicated was next to nil. She kept on and on and on, but nothing of substance was actually communicated.

Such a sweet interview it was..Loved it..Aishu told working with Rajkumar was in her wishlist.RR told that she was mesmerized with Aishu's flawless performance.then the way Aishu praised Anil Sir and his sweetness and Anil sir saying Fanney Khan would have impossible without Aishu..It was wow..and finaly when Anil sir told he wants this movie to be remembered as a good movie..that touched my heart..This people here are not only beautiful but sweet too...and Anupama looks so young even at 51..

I think Aishwarya Rai was high that day. I have always found her to be very composed. However, this time she kept talking and talking.
The only time Aishwarya was honest was at 23:23, when she called Anil Kapoor's misogyny out, in exact four words: spoken like a man. And then apologise profusely with 52 thoussnd versions of saccharine coated "Sweet". There was nothing sweet about his comment. It was reeking with selfishness.

I don't watch many Bollywood films, but I like all of these actors. Happy to see Rajkummar Rao working in the same space as veterans in the industry. He certainly has a lot to offer and it will be refreshing to see him in a light-hearted film. I last saw him on Netflix in Shahid. But I'm sad Aishwarya is only a cameo yet again.

I do agree that Rajkumar Rao really doesn't get an opportunity to speak, but look at the amount of work he is doing, he's going to come back again and with more good films too.
But I'm honestly stumped at how bad this comment section is just because Aishwarya talked a lot and how they are praising each so much. Like seriously? It was so beautiful to see an actor so genuinely excited and inspired by someone else and talk about it the way she did. How many films or interviews does she do in a year? How many chances is she gonna get to speak of these things?
Most importantly, are the audience and the box office the only ones who's allowed to judge and praise an actor? She mostly talked about his behind the scenes personality traits (which she's more qualified to speak of than you) and it's interesting how she's as much in awe of him as she was in Taal. Anil Kapoor, one actor who has carried off any every role that he did with aplomb. He has been under_ rated for whatever reason. But the man amazes me. He is the real classy actor, youthful , sensitive, slim, outstanding. Aishwarya has assessed him right &put it well too. Shabash to both Anil & Aishwarya.!! Thank God, someone has seen him right &said so, with awareness.
