It took Ian to understand that even though he was bi-polar Mickeys love was real and genuine and it would be the one calming thing that sustained him. Some of the best acting I’ve seen in a long time.
what i love is the fact that because mickey isn't the sort of character to say lovely words or be completely open about his feelings for ian, the actor has to do an extremely good job of portraying his emotions with his eyes. He completely nailed it. And also the fact that this is the only couple from the beginning of the show that we, as an audience, got to actually watch grow their relationship from literal KIDS to MARRIAGE. No matter what other relationships that ian had, how could they even compete with mickey, who was with ian since the beginning and watched him mature, saw all of his faults/issues and still loved him the same. A milkovich and Gallagar honestly match each other so well im surprised we didn't have another solid couple with other members of the families.
