I am sad that the parachute ride and the Wacky Soap Box Racers no longer exist. I remember riding the train and the stagecoach, touring the Haunted shack and panning for gold. And the log flume. I do miss those fun times of my childhood.
According to the Knotts website, the 100th anniversary celebration ends Sept 6. Who knows when the California residents only restriction will be lifted. I love Knotts and visited often in the 70s and 80s. It's nice to see that even with all the changes over the yrs there are still things that have remained such as the Calico Mine. My favorite too 😊 I always say I don't want to be in there during an earthquake! 🤪

When I was a kid, the Boardwalk was the Roaring 20s and it was very early aviation focused. It was my favorite place in the park. The main roller coaster, the Corkscrew, was the best rollercoaster on the west coast at the time

I cant believe all the rollercoasters... none were there except Montezumas Revenge back when I was visiting. They were smart to build them but they sure mess with the themed lands. I visited about 15 yrs ago and I did enjoy the Jaguar. Nice and easy coaster 😊 I went up in the skyjump ONCE. It would go up and down twice. Once I made it down the first drop I asked the guy to please let me off! It was so scary. There were no dinosaurs and no trolley but we did have a can-can show on the stage in the Calico Saloon throughout the day.
The Calico Mine Train is my favorite. Every time I've been to Knott's Berry Farm I had to go on it. It's nice to see that they are taking better care of it than the last time I was there.

man i love this park!!! This park brought so much inspiration to Walt and his own park he would later open, such as the steam train! Even Frontierland was inspired by Ghost Town when Walter Knott invited Walt Disney to opening day! The mine train is also easily one of my favorite rides ever made. I so so so wish i could have made it out for the 100th anniversary, still hoping to go for at least Scary Farm. and the fact a season pass is less than a day ticket at Disney really cheers up my pockets lmao. Everyone lovces Disneyland, heck, I love Disneyland, but theres a different more humble feel about Knotts.
Lollled, pausing mid vid to say I just bought water bottle holders for the 3 of us going to DL in 2 weeks. Such a smart idea, The Knotts one is super cute. I still have old DL water holders they used to sell, but they’re just a lanyard with a loop for a plastic bottle neck, & we are so done buying those bottles!

I remember when the park was free and they had burro rides. I rode the trolley and we had so much fun. As I got older I miss it. I loved the restaurant for their chicken dinner
We used to have a version of the Sky Jump at SFOT. The Parachute Ride, as it was called, gave you an option to either sit in a chair or stand up in a cage, both freaked me out as a kid..
I'm sure I am not the only one to mention this, but over the last half dozen videos or so I have noticed a (to me) great improvement in the musical selections and overall sound editing & atmosphere of the videos. The music selection has always been great, but lately there have been a lot of sounds that "just fit" the scene they're paired to. The Sky Cabin montage at 9:33 was a favorite of mine in this one! There is some fantastic sound editing going on in these videos!

Hey guys I can't wait to get back to Knott's Berry Farm I want to try other food and explore! The one and only time I've ever been there I went on that parachute ride and almost had a heart attack! I was like squatted down holding my breath and shaking and my whole body was tight it was terrifying!it was in 1986. Kitra you're braver than me I wouldn't even go on that swing ride!

I have so much respect for you two. If I’m going on any coasters or rides with really quick motion, I will either abstain from eating or if I do eat the. I sit out the rides for at least a few hours. Definitely some tamer rides I’ll go but in the last video…talk about bravery going on coasters and also delivering your craft on food reviews. 👍

Also, did you know that everywhere there was a photo-op for a past ride, the area that they were in was approximately where the ride used to be. Very cool of Knott's doing that. My Mom and I used to do SKY JUMP. They dropped you twice. The first time we did it I asked if I could please get off after 1 if I didn't like it. The team member said yes to 8 yr old me. I loved it, as it didn't drop fast. I went on the second drop very excited. Miss that ride

Thank you for the adventure. That Ode to Cordelia Chicken and Doughnut Sandwich was good and very messy. Had to wash my hands after I was done. I think they have different versions of that sandwich. Did you guys see the Moments in Time QR codes? Saw one on the sign of Soap Box Racer. Also, did you know that everywhere there was a photo-op for a past ride, the area that they were in was approximately where the ride used to be. Very cool of Knott's doing that. Hope to see you guys again one day!

My Mom and I used to do SKY JUMP. They dropped you twice. The first time we did it I asked if I could please get off after 1 if I didn't like it. The team member said yes to 8 yr old me. I loved it, as it didn't drop fast. I went on the second drop very excited. Miss that ride
