So I had the same confusion about Minnie’s official title and when I asked someone who’s worked on the Dream for awhile this is what they told me. “If she has the bow on in the merchandise that’s cruise director Minnie and they’re phasing that out.” So she is officially a captain they just have leftover merchandise they’re getting selling with her as a cruise director. ☺️
0:28 I hope I wasn't the only one who saw this hallway and went "bioshock" also I hope somebody else remembers that mickey mouse game that was almost impossible to beat, all the overly expensive purses reminded me of it because of all the port holes. I swear most people only got to the second level of that game and not any further.
I love all the merch on the Disney ships. I did get a Dooney Wristlet to add to my Disney D&B collection. My husband loved the Polo Shirts. My go- to souvenir is always the Scrapbook . And of all the items they have, when I took my granddaughters on a HOTHS Cruise ( 5 & 8 at the time ) all they wanted as their souvenir was the Animator’s Pallet Butter Knife. .
I've never had any interest in going on a cruise but Peter and Kitra's videos might make me reconsider... lol Kitra's enthusiasm just makes it look so fun

I’m going on the wonder in January 2024 from Melbourne Australia! To say I’m excited is an understatement. I’ve wanted to go since I was 6 but we could never afford to go to the states AND on a cruise over there but now at 19 it’s finally come to my home country! Thank you for this travel series can’t wait to watch more!

Hey, romance novels are the highest grossing genre of books! It absolutely makes sense to sell those if they have any books for sale. lol And I like some of the more subtle Disney clothes. They’re good for wearing to the office, if the workplace has a dress code that doesn’t allow you to wear tees and the like. (Mine has such a dress code.) Thanks for showing us the merch! There’s definitely pieces I’d want to get if I was there!

But if it’s cross merchandising in parks, shops and cruises then price point should be lower. I’d also go to the parks and cruises and only expect to see merch there I’d never see online and in their stores. It makes visiting the properties worthwhile and premium. It’s half the fun of going.
So I was on the Wonder Oct. 22-25, and the merch seemed less diverse than our other DCL cruises. We also didn't buy much because every item we liked didn't come in our size. Anyhow, great video!

Awwww thanks. We are the same and usually skip other merch videos but one of the things we’ve always loved doing at the parks is going in the stores and checking out all the new merch, even though most times we wouldn’t buy anything. Maybe that’s why our merch videos are more watchable? We aren’t doing them just to make a video it’s something we enjoy doing. Not to say anyone else is just doing it to make a video, but we love looking at all the new merch. If not that, I have no idea 😂
We have a link in the video description that lists all our gear. We use the Sony A7s3. It’s an amazing camera but I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are a video professional or serious hobbiest because it’s expensive and complicated. But it’s awesome
So we have Captain Mickey, Cruise Director Minnie. Who fills out the rest of the roles. Goofy as the Gopher, Pluto the First mate, Donald as the Bartender, Chip n Dale as the best ship attendants, Daisy as the Ship Stylist. For some reason matching up roles that have seen on the Love Boat series.
My family is doing a new thing this year where we conduct a raffle to decide who gets Christmas presents for who, and I was chosen to give presents for my grandma. One of my gifts will be a Disney H2O bath soap (I mentioning it because Peter loves the H2O brand)

My family is doing a new thing this year where we conduct a raffle to decide who gets Christmas presents for who, and I was chosen to give presents for my grandma. One of my gifts will be a Disney H2O bath soap (I mentioning it because Peter loves the H2O brand)
