Appears relatively clear to me: the 501 age is now firmly upon us. The notion of Australia as being friendly neighbours is shot. We have been dumped on, not unlike the sophisticated way the big four banks do via capital flight. The admission the NZ market is now 'saturated' with meth is disastrous.
The Australian administration has simply made their gang, and by extension, drug and violence network, conveniently trans-Tasman and perfectly calibrated for more illicit activity here. Robbing us both exponentially. Thanks Canberra...

But you can see why Canberra is happy to export that problem, yeah? They send 501s back to other countries, too, remember - it’s not just NZ. Asia, UK, Canada…
Interesting that the lecturer didn’t mention the role of politicians’ careers benefiting from the arrests/convictions. Plenty of police intervention starts with a political party pledge to deal to the gangs, the Police portfolio Cabinet Minister applying boot to Commissioner’s arse. I’m no fan of Cuddles Coster - I think he’s a woke twat appointed by Wokester in Chief Ardern - but this latest Comancheo bust, a 3 yr operation apparently, will have started under Coster/Ardern/Hipkins. Credit where it is due, I say. (I’m guessing he organised the clearance of the Parliament gardens squatters too.)

NZ police, if they really wanted to make life annoying for Gangs, could just tail and stop them every day. The hassle would drive them mental, a vehicle leaving their houses/warehouses couldn’t transport anything illegal- guns, drugs, blokes on bail etc. I’m guessing Coster would say he just doesn’t have the cop numbers to do it. Some states in Oz have made life/biz super uncomfortable for Gangs, I would have thought NZ police would do a copycat.

Yeah distribution is distribution, the market was nz gangs and that hasn't changed, they just aren't the market leaders now. The international gangs take a hit and BP MM HH etc, see a rise in their share price.
