I think you should,n't be too hard on yourself. We enjoy your day to day content and thoughts. You don't have to have anything special going on in every vlog. Your hair is gorgeous btw 🤩
truly divine timing that this popped up in my subscription feed as soon as i started to clean my kitchen 🩷 chanmas has been so wonderful this year, thank you chandler! even if you feel like the vlogs have been super introspective lately, i enjoy hearing your thought process on things that i’ve been ruminating on too (haircare, over/underconsumption, etc.) 🫶🏻
the red hair looked soooooo phenomenal on you like the best look ever!! If you ever consider dying it again red is YOUR color! you look like drop dead gorgeous in that color!! bobbie brown has a lilac gloss that Allana Davison here on yt constantly raves about and says it works amazing for her pale winter skin.
I’m so glad you’re watching Rivals, we LOVED IT! Not sure if you know it’s based on the most unhinged 80s “romance” series by Jilly Cooper, that’s why it’s so frothy and insane and soapy. But I think in the best way! I waaaayyyyy prefer the show over the books, somehow the blatantly problematic content feels bearable in that format vs intolerable in the books. Also, your hair!!!! So good ❤
Tbh I like conflict, but third act breakups are always so obviously manufactured and because the author realized they wrote themselves into a corner. Some of my current favorite German authors center the conflict around outside stuff that forces the couple to be apart for a bit, without actually pulling a third act breakup. I really like it that way because yes, there is tension, but it's not "oh no we miscommunicated and now we're going to spend the next fifteen pages sulking and vague posting about each other until someone reminds us that we might actually need to talk it out".
I had such a good time with The Games Gods Play and I realized it’s because I don’t really read romantasy and I never read about gods so it was the equivalent of someone picking up a decent enough thriller with an unreliable narrator in 2017. Catch me 3 years from now being a romantasy connoisseur and it probably won’t hold up 😂
I also do not understand the appeal of cozy books where nothing happens vs. revisiting your favorite characters and stories as coziness. Maybe it’s related to consumerism. Or just opinions, whatever. Very funny to me how many booktubers i follow that dislike cozy fantasy though

Your hair looks AMAZING! It suits you so well.
the purple blush, cool skin tone, and dye job were apparently the final boss before you completed your transformation into Anne Hathaway wowwww

Cozy being synonymous with plotless is a trend a cannot get behind. Cozy fantasy is not cozy to me but rather frustrating that nothing is happening.
