Hey Julia! It’s crazy that you touched a topic I’ve also been experiencing. I’ve been getting closer to God and I can definitely see the Holy Spirit convicting me from tv shows that aren’t really good. I feel so much better than I did before and I can also see I have less anxiety. Blessings to you and your family

I deeply resonated with the social media chat, it was spot on for me. I’ve been feeling this way for more than a year, about feeling like my time is being wasted scrolling on social media, or watching certain shows, which I have stopped and even hanging out with certain people. I don’t have kids yet, but I do feel this inner shift where I crave more real, positive authenticity in my life.
Thank you Julia for talking about it. I had no idea what you had been going through too. Wishing you and your family lots of peace and happiness and meaning in your life 🫶 ❤

Just had my second surgery for endometriosis so that my husband and I can have some babies. We’ve been trying for three years, the first year felt like pressure and “business” like you said, but we just tried to keep our focus on dating and showing up for each other. We were intimate every other day just cause that’s our rhythm! We discovered my endometriosis and now that everything is fixed up, our doctor is confident that we will have kids. Also just trusting Gods plan!

I feel like such a broken record but I absolutely love the transparency from the two of you on this channel! I don't have children but can 100% relate with what Julia shared around tv/social media. It's totally fine and fun to indulge in mindless tv and social media sometimes, but with age, you realize just how much more there is to life.

I got pregnant when my daughter was 14 months. At first I was so worried, they’re now 9&7 and it’s been the best thing. They’ve always had a playmate, they’re very closer relationally. Every family is different and however you do it will be perfect for your family. We still travel so much. We have a mini farm in Iowa with lots of animals and we split our time in Nashville. Just encouraging you that you can do it and it’ll be great. Whenever it happens 🤍🤍

Keep on keeping on !! Feed mind and your soul. Your are a young intelligent beautiful wife-mother-daughter-sister etc. Be proud of you. Good job young lady!

Julia thank you for being vulnerable, it’s so beautiful! I’ve been following your journey into parenthood (I had my daughter a couple months after Smokey) and I can relate to so many things you guys do and feel. I don’t know how to put this, but nothing like parenthood to make you look at life through such a strong lense. I will say that I’ve been feeling called for a deeper purpose myself and have been leaning on God and wow has it been so life changing. Jesus has given me so much joy through the messes and peace when I’m not supposed to have it. If you’re searching for those things, ahh it’s amazing. Thank you again for being a sweet light on here ❤ thinking of you guys 10:29

I can totally relate to the social media and love island chat! I had a baby 4 months ago and then my brother unexpectedly passed away a few days after I gave birth. Those two major life changes immensely shifted my perspective on life. I feel so sacred about my time and really cherish moments that make me feel whole, so watching shows that make me feel empty no longer work for me.

I agree with you on all of your feelings when it comes to growing up and being a parent, social media, life, being too short, and that we need to embrace and cherish every moment with our loved ones, because every day we are getting older, and our families are getting older❤ I suddenly lost both of my parents two years ago to Covid, and they were young and healthy and living their life, and it can stop in a blink of an eye, so we need to embrace and cherish every moment with our loved ones❤❤❤😢

I really enjoyed this vlog! I appreciate you reiterating that what you see online is basically so warped and distorted on what real life is. Everyone has their challenges and their goals, I think that was such an important message to put out and to be kind!❤️ it is so cute watching Smoke, having kids changed you….but in the most positive ways! You truly realize what is important and what you want to be spending your time doing. My husband and I are older parents (compared to people we grew up with) so we are in our mid 40’s with an 11 year old and 9 year old boys. They are such amazing people and we don’t WANT to do anything without them. Time goes so fast, we are also so grateful that we had them close together in age. They are 21 months apart in age so they have always been into the same things at the same time. Also, that wood store is AWESOME! What a cool find in Nashville! Thanks for the video Julia and Hunter!

I just tuned 43 two days ago, our children out in there early 20’s! I just love how you chatted about wanting more real and wholesome moments in life! I am not a reality TV person and it made me smile how you “dont “relate to the show Love Island as much anymore. And that you just aren’t “connecting” to it. It’s such a beautiful thing to grow and desire more fulfillment in life :) Happiness is based upon your situation but JOY is chosen & intentional, its not easy but its a game changer!!

They’re def born with their lil personality. Things my daughter does she also did as a baby under a year. I have an ultrasound pic with her hand on her cheek. She’s 10 now & still sleeps with her hand on her cheek, always has. My other daughter & my son’s personalities as babies show the same now. It’s the best 🫶

I just love you guys, like genuinely! Your presence on social media is so appreciated because you do it so differently. I can watch you guys and not feel like I need to play catchup. And I love celebrating your wins across the screen! I'm only 21 but I had to grow up fast, so I very very slightly relate to you Julia! There are so many things we find ourselves getting catch up in that literally don't matter. But God created us for connection and love and I really really want to dial in to them. And take care of people. There is so much love to give and receive and I do not want to miss it.

Julia, there is never a time I don't learn something from your vlogs. I am much older than you and Hunter but yet when you have these chats with us I connect with you. That being said I want you to know how good it makes me feel. There are days I am so lost. I have a lot on my plate. I am not one to talk about my life so I park it and forget it. It is a way to deal but not healthy. When i hear your chats it just reminds me that we are all going thru things in life. Having money can make things easier but it still does not take away daily struggles. Thank you for always reminding us. It brings calm to my mind and I appreciate it.

Your take on time is of an essence is so true. Before I was a TH-cam junkie. Content, hauls, everything. Now it’s so rare that it piques my interest. I’ve had a mental shift since getting married and trying to conceive , with several road blocks, surgeries, etc and trying to build a career to afford all the TTC cost we’ve suddenly embarked upon. Different priorities. No more engaging in unfulfilling experiences.

You guys can totally have more! You’re such strong people. Having kids is hard, but just like a work out or studying, the more you do it, the stronger and smarter you get! It’s such a cool process. I have babies 18 months apart and then 2 years apart: if you want three… id maybe spread them out a bit more. Sometimes we felt very overwhelmed with three young, but the first two being close is pretty awesome and manageable.

I love seeing you all thrive as parents! Ours is 9 months old and we decided to go ahead and have another because our baby is such a social baby and we wanted her to have a sibling she could be close to. It also helps when the routine doesn’t change too much so no one has to feel like they’re missing out because the newborn schedule is so strict. Either way, you all are GREAT parents and any kiddos you have will be loved!

yes i agree with everything you said. i cant get to watch a show cause when my baby is sleeping i feel like i have alot of more important things to do. and same i had an uncle pass away from cancer and he had so much positive and wanting to live so that change my perspective of how i should be so thankful for life for health and stop worrying about money. we have been in such a rough enonomic situation that its been a while we do something nice or buy something we want cause money has to go to mortgage or light. but i do think this is temporary and everything will get better❤

My older 2 are just 4 days shy of being 2 years apart exactly and it was definitely hard, but sooo sweet when they were tiny. Now they are 7 and 5 and they fight all the damn time 😅 we had a bigger age gap with our 3rd (4 & 6 years difference) and it has been so fun watching them as fun, protective, loving big siblings + they genuinely love to help which is a bonus!

My brother and I are eleven months apart, and because we were so close in age, we got to experience everything together. We were always best friends and are to this day. I knew I always had him to talk to in school and go to football games with him. When we were kids, we would play together, and now that we are adults, we have similar things going on because we are the same age and can relate to / help each other. Whatever decision you make, it'll go amazing; I just wanted to share my experience.

You guys have entered your family era 🩵🩷 my husband and I have a 2.5 year old daughter and we have more fulfilling moments when we do things as a family than spending time with people who aren’t on the same journey. Shows too haha I feel so old seeing younger people on dating shows. Figuring out when to add a second child to the mix is always a conversation because everyone is so different. I think even at her age she’s still little and needs us a lot they develop the most in the first 3 years so my heart and mind can’t wrap my mind on a 2nd just yet. We are hoping to start trying next year when she’s 3. Then she will also know about what’s happening and actually know we are bringing home a sibling 🥹

Hi! Love you guys! I just want to say as a mom of 4. 1st two are 18 months apart. They are the best to each other. They grew up together basically. And after having 1 the second is nothing. Lol proud of how you are transitioning and changing naturally with your content!

My first baby is 14 months.. found out I was pregnant this last weekend with baby #2. Wasn’t trying. Wanted to plan to have 2nd baby when first baby was around 2 years.. but it is what is.. it was a surprise for sure but I never went back on birth control so it can definitely happen unexpectedly lol. But they will be close in age and I think it will be so much fun! Love you guys so much! Beautiful family, love watching you guys 🤍🤍🤍
Definitely have momma guilt because I feel like I haven’t had enough time just being a family of 3 😢 but when you think of it, I will be pregnant for most of 2024 which we will cherish being a family of 3 and soak it up while we can. Ready or not, it’s happening but I love this season of like we are in!

My first son was 9 months old when I got pregnant. Then he was 18 months old when his brother was born, they were best friends, they got along so well. You may think two would be a handful, but it’s not, it was fun. You guys are good parents, but it helps Smoke is such a good baby. He’s not a crier, he’s a good boy, your lucky.

I absolutely LOVE seeing y’all as parents and listening to y’all talk about parenting and the entire experience. As a mom to a 13 month old, I fully relate to your thoughts about life etc from the beginning of the video. I’m due with my second (surprise baby) and they’ll be 20 months apart. At first, I was scared that my first born won’t get enough one on one time and still be so young when the second comes. Now, I’m very grateful that we didn’t even have to try (first experience was an 18 month long journey) and they will be soo close. Little besties. So, I think it’s scary to think about at first but the pros vastly outweigh the cons. It’ll be hard in the beginning but it’ll be so short, we will just embrace it! The right time happens when it happens. Little Smokey is the cutest!!

Smokey is so cute! I noticed that a lot of baby toys are not including primary colors anymore. Primary colors are so important for babies development. Thought I'd share cause it was something I didn't noticed until it was brought to my attention.

True story: I started my son in an activity center at a very young age. At 4 months he was very strong and his grandmother decided to put him in a walker because he was already able to hold himself up and the way he moved his legs was advanced. From there on out he gained strength and momentum and learned how to work his leg muscles. At 6 months old my son was able to walk. I had never seen nothing like it! He will be 17 on February 3 and he hasn’t stopped being advanced since birth.
