    Hi Nick, And the last Motorhome show of this year with this time a Niesmann + Bischoff Arto 88 EK its a big one and you need 2 steps to get in with a nice settee in the front and a nice folding double bed from the ceiling good size kitchen and then a big bathroom in de middle with a big shower great in the back the German bed what you can make in a double very nice Thank you Nick a good show 👍👍👍👍👍

    Let down by a lack of kitchen food prep space unless there's an attachable counter we didn't see. No real lounge area to speak off where the TV is. In a vehicle of this size and cost, I was expecting more. It seems badly planned given the large space available.

    • @morarucosmin6776
      @morarucosmin6776 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      indeed!
      That kitchen counter space...way too big, too long. Basicly, the entire area with those white stickers (before the 3 burners) could easily be gone and it wouldnt be missed.
      The extra space could either be used to make the front more spacious (seems way too tight for such big boy) orr...swap toilet and shower thus, giving the show 10+ extra cm room!
      Now, you d get a much roomier shower space ...the toilet can easily be put on the other side, right next to the sink.
      Also, the bed is too big. Cut it short to the shortest middle portion and make it transversal rather than longitudinal.
      OR...ditch one of the sides entirely, and leave just 2/3s of same legnth ...you ll still have a big bed, but with plenty of room to move arround the bed.

    Two huge beds, 3 seatbelts, pointless the other bed, we had our Cathargo built without the front bed, loads more open space/light and lovely storage cupboards

    these style of motorhomes are all good while covered by warranty but if you need any engine work or anything under the bonnet be ready for a shock as they are impossible to work on be ready to have the body removed from the chassis!

    Thank you for another excellent tour of a beautiful motorcoach we cannot buy in the U.S. Wishing you a joyful and prosperous New Year, Nick! Perhaps in 2024 more of these European coaches besides Wingamm will make their way across the Atlantic to North America. 😃

    I bet that bedroom sliding door was released by lifting it up a little bit...that seems the only possible way it could have been invisibly locked in place like that.

  • @FLGurl
    @FLGurl ปีที่แล้ว

    A very nice set up indeed. I would have tried to push in the pocket door seeing as there is nothing obvious holding it in like a latch or a snap of something. Excellent video. Thank you! 🍷

    Wheel liners let the arto down BIG time.
    The locker doors get covered in mud etc, wheel liners would eliminate having to clean them every time.
    The step going into the bedroom is a major trip hazard.

    Thinking that 166k I can just move to and old Chatteau in Normandy and drink vino.
    Plus no tolls .

      If you want an old Chateau in Normandy, it would be better to buy an old Chateau in Normandy. These tend to be bought by people who want a motorhome. 🙂

    Quick question. In Europe do you see people pulling cars behind their motorhomes like we do here in North America? I have a Ford Focus the we take with us behind our gas Class A 90% of the time.

    • @MOTAHOLIC
      @MOTAHOLIC  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, absolutely. They're called toads, because they are towed. 😄

      @@MOTAHOLICthanks for clearing that up for me, and yes that’s what some of us call them as well. They’re also known as “dinghy’s”.

    For that money I want a relaxing seat after driving all day. I don’t want to sit in the same swivelled around seat I have been driving in. And I certainly don’t want to sit in an upright bench seat at a table. For that money no thank you.

    It’s a shame it only takes 3 people, I hope they do a version that takes 4 people as it would probably only require a slightly larger seat and be easy to fit as it were. Other than that it’s a great vehicle by the look of it.

    Why do the window blinds on motorhomes always look so breakable? Tv next to the door is a daft design, very easily scratched

  • @andrewpetley4468
    @andrewpetley4468 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nice tour as always but feel this one is let down by the design. Moving back the front lounge area is too small and needs a fourth seatbelt to make the two double beds usable. Kitchen is too small and counter space poorly designed. Bathroom area is too big, smaller would free up space for the kitchen. Rear bed is way bigger than required and better design could have again freed up space further forward.

  • @daveanddodger5498

    Why do these people showing us around the vehicle not really know what they are doing. Get a guy who really knows the product. He’s pissed me off so much I wouldn’t buy it if it was half price.

  • @morarucosmin6776
    @morarucosmin6776 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    That kitchen counter space...way too big, too long. Basicly, the entire area with those white stickers (before the 3 burners) could easily be gone and it wouldnt be missed.
    The extra space could either be used to make the front more spacious (seems way too tight for such big boy) orr...swap toilet and shower thus, giving the shower 10+ extra cm room taken from the kitchen counter-top.
    Now, you d get a much roomier shower space ...the toilet can easily be put on the other side, right next to the sink, as it requires much less space to use than a shower cabin.
    Also, the bed is way too big.
    Here, i have several ideas to use the space much better:
    - Cut it short to the shortest middle portion and make it transversal rather than longitudinal.
    - Ditch one of the sides entirely, and leave just 2/3s of same legnth ...you ll still have a big bed, but with plenty of room to move arround the bed.
    - Cut it short (to the shortest middle section...it would still accomodate 90% of population), ditch one of the sides completely and make it an island-type bed.
    Now, it reduces vehicle weight, allows room to move arround the bed and uses the space much better

    Let me give you some advice. You need to look true the camera when you’re recording or get a wide lens or a different camera because you’re not showing the whole picture and it’s annoying. You’re filming too close to whatever you’re trying to show us.

  • @normbond8888

    Way too much money for a Fiat chassis 1st off. Propane bottles under driver’s seat is a suicide mission in an accident. Oh yes, Sleeps 4 but only 3 seat belts. I guess 4th person sits in rear garage away from the gas bottles. Just a few of lots not to like for this amount of coin. Thank Nick for tying to make the best out of a poor design.
