It’s a dreadful outdated seat. Virgin is saved by its decent menu and fantastic flight attendants. Manchester though has always been the orphan child in terms of quality seating. It’s all funneled to London.
The flight attendants are the best. The food is really good. However, those godawful seats. You cannot look out the window but if you pick the wrong side, you can spend your time looking at people's feet with ease. Their ATL to MAN is the orphan child of the bunch. orlando to manchester does have the A350. Virgin has a new product for the trip to London. The entertainment is poor. Their choice of movies is inferior to most other airlines. I want to end on a high note. LOVE VA's cabin crew. Friendly and efficient. Though the overnight flight they cannot wait to get the lights off so they can all retire to the galley. Much better on the daytime flight from MAN to ATL.
The business class on this plane is a joke. I flew it from LHR back to Boston. You literally have 50% of the room that you have on the new airbus 900 Neostar that I took from Boston to London.

Make sure your Virgin flight is not an old Airbus A330-300. Get the new Airbus 900 - business class is night and when compared.
