Funny that you only noticed that you could've used Boots of Speed on Roulette to counter Top Kill midway through the fight, at least you did still win regardless but that's definitely something that could ruin a streak
I wonder if wilds makes early curses worse. I've seen many tier 1 wilds that do almost nothing, so you'll def get some free early curses, but the average early curses isn't the issue, the main fear with early curses is getting 2 bad choices and being forced to random. The chance of getting a horrific wild means you are more likely to be in the position where you need to random, god forbid you random into the horrific wild. In this case -1 to left side each boss wouldn't have been toooo bad, but the fear is that you get a wild with a very threatening effect that is only t1 because its restricted to a few fights in the run.
@@turtier it's probably worse? Definitely better to get some mediocre t1 basegame curses than free ones but with the downside of adding a bunch of horrors into the pot. Not sure how the math works out tho, like there's only about 4 really really bad t1 basegame curses. Adding in wild adds uh... infinite free ones and infinite horrors? Lmao, but in my experience it seems worse yeah I mostly run wild cuz it's fun tho, but here it's maybe so bad I should turn it off. Wilds I think are usually fine because you get so many options so a lot of the horrors can just be ignored and you can still take stuff like rmons, rare free curses, or even just some regular hard stuff like every other poisoned 1, but limiting it to 2 options is rough lol
That RMON had Ogre(?) HP (yellow that buffs sides when it is passed) which would've made it 2 poison. You did not call such out but I feel like it would've made that RMON MUCH more painful lol.

The ogre HP would have been his 3rd HP out of 7 so by the time I get to it it usually wouldn't matter because he's on 2 or less. This guy also seems like someone you ignore till the end or just burst down turn 1, so the passive is whatever. I ought to vocalize that thought tho lol
Bard is my baby. I know he's not good, I know 6hp and the inability to shield a single target is rough. still. If there are no bard lovers then I am dead
