Are Carl Jung’s and Eckhart Tolle’s Ideas Opposites?

    I find the ideas of Tolle and Jung to be complementary. The more presently aware you are for example, the more fully you're able to engage and learn from a process like shadow work. Definitely plenty of room to learn from both of these great minds. Excellent video!

    "Ego" is only problematical, if identified with: Presence dissolves that issue, and enables entry into states of awareness in which we bear witness to layers or dimensions of psyche, unidentified, again, with the forms our experience is taking. I think this presentation is excellent, BTW, and as a practitioner of mindfulness, and of (Jungian-based-expanded) Voice Dialogue's "Aware Ego Process" for 4 decades, enjoy evolving "ego" appreciation.

    It would seem to me that comparing Tolle and Jung is very much like comparing "The complete Calvin and Hobbes" vs Socrates. I accept though that Eckart Tolle can be better than nothing for people who don't believe in self-exploration.
