I feel like this game was one huge metaphor for someone who has a loved one who is dying of a terminal illness. You want to believe there is that chance they'll make it, but deep down, you know it is only going to end one way. It's heartbreaking, but also touching. We can't always save the one we love, but we can still love them and help them find peace.
It can really be used for a lot of analogies. Many times when she was in despair and telling herself to pick up and keep going, and the moments where she thinks she'll be alone if she doesn't have Hugo specifically and there'll be no reason to keep going hit home for me on a different level. I've never dealt with major death of a loved one, but I've been in abusive situations and often get burn out and depression. And not wanting to fight anymore, especially when it feels like it's never-ending is a struggle. Accepting fate and truly growing up even when it means making a sacrifice that you don't want to let go can also be interpreted different ways. It hits hard, and I appreciate the writing.
Nice perspective. I'm only at the scene with a lot of dead infected corpses. That scene and Ameci killing all the people remind me of Christopher Columbus the trespasser. I wonder if this game is secretly trying to tell us this forgotten history? Massacres occurred across the land such as the Wounded Knee Massacre. Not only was the method of massacre used, other methods for “Indian Removal” and “clearing” included the military slaughter of tribal villages, bounties on native scalps, and biological warfare. I know how that feels, I just recently lost my last grandfather on the 6th of December at the age of 88, who had lung cancer. I spe t every day with him praying that he would make it to his 89th birthday on the 19th of December. But sadly it wasn't meant to be. He had to get ready for his wedding anniversary in heaven on the 12th.
Tbh I like the previous title more. I found Amicia's character annoying this time as well as the relationship between her and Lucas. I really loved the landscapes and colors tho.. trippy enough
This broke my heart... As they walked together and everything was being destroyed that's when I realized what the only way could be.. I hope he's with his mother father and arnaud and I hope he's playing with the birds and collecting feathers.
@Owen Gothier he s not dead !!!! The macula shielded the attack so they killed the virus not hugo !!!!! Plus hugo from macula became some kind of god so he s immortal !!!! He is still alive ! And even if he is really dead he is reincarnated but i dont think so ! Hugo is alive and cured !!!! And he with amicia will help the next carrier ! You will see a plague tale 3rd game is coming soon
@@wildrouseacer you sound like amicia typing this 💀with her unwavering optimism. he’s 100% dead, amcia’s obligation to kill Hugo would have absolutely no purpose if he was alive, and everything in the end of the story pretty much emphasizes that Hugo is dead. You gotta think how stupid it would be from a story perspective if he was actually alive

Thats one hell of an amazing journey. And an emotional one at that. When I'm reminded of Amicia's name, I will always remember Hugo's voice calling out her name, when he shouts, when he's sad, angry or happy. Credits to all the voice actors of the game, especially Amicia's and Hugo's.
They did an incredible job! Amazing from start to finish, their voices perfectly captured the mood and emotion of the entire game! Listening to Amicia cry and despair during battle made her feel alive and real. It made me think how stupid all the other characters in other video games are compared to her! Because Amicia feels fear, pain and anger in war and extreme situations just like a real person!
@crashburndicoot6940 I noticed that too, but that changed happened because people complained about the voice actors fake french accent from the first game, they can't please everyone
Damn, I'm almost in tears... such a sad ending, just how good is this game, and how good is the story written, especially Amicia voice actor, she really did her part.
yeah true it good story and sad in the same time after 2 years they make sec game im starting to think this sec part is good too and that means maybe they will make game nomber 3 after 2 or 3 years not 10 just after 2 or 3 will be thats what i think bc just this sec game was super good too
Im bawling out my eyes. I have a little brother too and he means the world to me. I really can feel the pain from Amicia that she was always trying to protect him of all costs but in the end she had just one choice, this broke my heart. I can't believe how well written, emotional and beautiful the game is.
Since there are no good movies to watch! I decided to eat my popcorn while watching you play A PLAGUE TALE REQUIEM! Update : Whaaaat 1.5k likes! So I NEED MORE POPCORN
43:04 Ahhhh! I love how Hugo is just like a six year old tired from the fair! Its so cute how his relationship with his sister has evolved from the first game. IN the first one they didnt really know each other since Hugo had to be isolated from a young age and now he's completely comfortable with putting his arms around Amicia like she's his mom.
I honestly am speechless. I spent an entire day watching this from 11:00am to now 1:57am, but I don't regret a single hour! I can't afford a PS5 so this was the only way I could see what happened next after the first game and I am so .... I think my tears are burning. Such a beautiful, tremendous, tragically profound story! Wow....I'm going to need to reflect on this one. As an older sister myself this hit deep. 😿❤
The fact that i expect all of them will live peacefully at the end, my tears fell down while seeing hugo's grave, i love this game and watching it. Thank you for spending this 11 hours
yea i was naively waiting for that island with he phoenix and to see hugo cured... but the story constanty had these moments of "it should end now right?" and when i saw that there's still hours to play through i had a bad feeling that i chose to ignore, until the ending which totally took me by surprise, i rlly didn't expect a sad ending and i'm so devastated that hugo had to die ;-; rip little fella you were best of the best little king hugo
Don't know. The way Amicia has this wish to fix things by killing half the country is a bit psycho if you ask me and I feel it's too exagerated to appeal to emotional people. I felt like her in the first game then beginning of second game but later it really pissed me off. You try to do the same thing over and over and expect different outcome, you're just.....dumb. Even hugo realised and he is smoll boy. She did tell him though at some point something like "some things make you grow faster " and I loved that. Hugo grew 10 times more mature than her. Started by hating him and liking amicia and reversed the roles at the end haha. I liked that, good character development still. More games should do this.
@@vladgame6526 Much of what you said, I think the same. The emotional appeal was so exaggerated that it ended up cringe for me. Lucas is the only character i've enjoyed in the game. So much sacrifice for something that could have been resolved halfway through the game. Anyway: Innocence was much better than Requiem.
What a beautiful, emotional, sad game and Amicia is one of the great characters I have ever played with!!! I wish I could play it all over again by forgetting the whole story.
I honestly wish we could've saved Hugo, all I really wanted was for Hugo and Amicia to get a happy ending, because its so rare to find such a gem of a video game where it's all about family and found family and going through hardships and coming out stronger together. I mean, yes, there were hardships and troubles and it was very dark, but seeing them being torn apart for forever just feels all kinds of wrong. A good game, and a satisfying ending, but I still wish we could've changed the outcome.
Relax, there might be a third game, just with a different protagonist and a different story. Amicia's story is not over, she has a few things to atone for.
I cried. I haven't cried or teared up this much for any game or even any movie for that matter; but this game, it challenged everything. The story, the setting, the characters, the deaths and above everything the love; words don't do justice to describe the emotions I am feeling. One mundane, I came across A Plague Tale: Innocence. I had a weekend ahead of me with nothing to do, so, I got this game and played it through without any guides or watching any gameplay. Man was I not expecting for what was waiting ahead of me! I loved everything about it and kept myself at bay from watching Requiem related stuff on Reddit and TH-cam. Unfortunately, Requiem is too heavy for my PC to handle at the moment but I was desperate to know how this story ends. This gameplay was perfect and I especially appreciate the no commentary style for this one. I wanted to feel and interpret every single moment on my own, like I am the one playing it, so thank you for allowing me to explore this. Amicia de Rune has become my favourite protagonist. Poor Amicia had to be a maternal figure, a sister and a warrior for her younger brother at such a young age and seeing the loses of her mother and father and her close ones while being constantly worried about his well-being and safety. She fought till the end like a warrior and her unconditional love kept her going. I came with hopes for a hopeful ending, leaving with a broken heart but I am at peace. This series is a 11/10. Its one of those games that change you forever and stay in your heart. Amica and Hugo you're forever in my heart
Damn this poor kid had to grow up too fast 😢. It's been a while since a game series got me legitimately choked up and the actors did such an amazing performance with their respective characters. Based on that ending scene, this series is not over yet.
With a word like Requiem in the title, it was kind of expected that the ending will be sad. I am glad though that Amicia's adventure is not over. This is game of the year material in terms of story telling. It has been a long time since I saw such a well written, compelling and thrilling story as in this game.
That kinda makes sense but it also doesn't cuz I thought the story would continue with amicia tracking down the next carrier and she's not immortal so who would the story be following in the third game? New characters sure but we've stuck with amicia and Lucas through both first and second games Doesn't make sense they'd just leave em behind in the third one. Although that ending is definitely implying that it is in the future. I just don't know really
@@Anonymous-st3gy it still doesn't make sense Cuz the ending scenes make it seem like her story continues but we won't be there to see I guess? Or maybe the story does but in modern times as you said but she leaves her involvement She probably created an organization or a group herself to help new carriers with the macula and that most likely will carry over into the third game The new characters maybe being helped by the group amicia created back when she founded it in the 14th century. Would be cool if the third game does something like that where they reference amicia's story in modern times.
@neru ahh man same....i m destroyed and since i completed the game since days i m still crying for no reason everyday.....this is not a game is a story a life stage there is a golded god
This is such a well made game. The characters were deep and developed, voice acting was great, amazing visuals, captivating storyline. Watching the character’s strengths and personalities evolve throughout the story was cool. Really enjoyed watching. The ending was so harsh but really goes along with the theme of how life probably was during this period. Great job on this, hope to see a 3rd!
a 3rd would be Amecia hunting down the next Carrier, and basically saying "Ya gotta kill em." or something. and probably killing a bunch of other people too, cause.. she is kinda blood thirsty that way
Thank you so much for this highly detailed playthrough, especially the part where we explore the boat. I didn't expect we get to see all the dialogues as Amicia going alone or with Hugo, talking to Arnaud as well as Sophia. Such a great help for us!
Super awesome walkthrough! I love how the game in its entirety feels like the stages of grief, and I love how it shows Amicia trying to heal at the end. Really hope we get a third game set in a different time, maybe closer to modern day (like the ending seems to hint at?) Don't think I've felt this much sadness over a game ending since rdr2. Super bittersweet, but I loved it! Thanks for uploading!
if we look at the end credits of this game, there is a video clip showing a blanket with a nice cloth, the sound of a respirator, the sound of a writing instrument scratching, and a sound like high heels. So is it possible that the next series will be set in the modern world?
I don't think it'd make sense to make a new game. What story would be there to tell? Amicia and Hugo's story was unique because that's the only story we know, it is why we could so quickly empathize with Basilius and Aelia. The Macula is a cyclical story, even if the modern day Carrier and Protector manage to live happily ever after, which has no bearing on whether or not the Macula strikes again. Rather, I think that the ending makes more sense as a warning that the Macula of the story is all the emotional damage we all bear IRL, that for every mad Inquisitor, Count, and Countess, there is an Amicia, Hugo, Arnaud, Lucas, and Sophia out there, that each of us is responsible not just for keeping our own demons in check but also that of others.
Kevin Choteau, Asobo Studio's game director said in an article for this game when asked about a sequel for this: "I think, for now, it’s the end. But the door is never closed, and we’ll see the player reception. We want to see their reaction before deciding anything. They are driving our production, and if they don’t like what we’ve done, we need to do something else." Maybe if the game does well within its one year period, on average since sequels for games this big takes a good chunk of time to make and we're on the 6th month right now, maybe a threequel will be made? Half a year or a quarter of a year is still a grace period since big games are come with a price on many things like graphics and such, we all don't want another "Sonic 06"-like incident. Btw, the span of release date between Innocence and Requiem is more than 3 years, just for comparison
The game is just a masterpiece!!! The gameplay and level design were just out of this world, the devs really put some hard work to it. But the story, was just on another level, there are very few stories that made shed a tear. I got to say, one of the best games I've played in the past few years. Gameplay 10/10 Story 11/10 GAME OF THE YEAR 2022.
@@aryangod2003 I can respect that. Although I loved it At its foundation it's a puzzle game and puzzle games are known for being linear in that way Same with limited set of actions A lot of the areas in the game are placed there for puzzles and story to get you to the next area. But story was incredible It was out of this world I'd say it's definitely on the same level as a gow game storytelling and the last of us.
Yes especially the part where the bad guy suddenly is alive again and then is your friend, with no real explanation that makes sense. Sorry dude, but the writing is just really really bad. And then theres the invisible walls or massive amount of logic errors, like when you need to climb up somewhere and theres a small box right beside it but you cant use it, or a low fence you cant just climb and instead have to open the gate from the other side with your sling. 🤣 Gamers have low standards these days if they call this a masterpiece... Oh, I completely forgot about all the bugs that constantly get you stuck and force you to restart the section...
Story was indeed incredible but I have questions -is it just me or does the mother and her children Amicia and hugo lack sweet motherly interaction -kinda unclear for arnaud to turn into a good guy and suddenly go for the Count -In the ending, I thought the Count was gonna take Hugo back to his island why did he land on the same place Amicia and the others landed Overall story was still bomb. I already expected bugs because of those rats. Multiple object movements normally causes bugs in most engines. Puzzle was good, you really have to work for it. I hope they make more of these. I'm kinda saddened they didn't show the twin girl that survived the fiasco back in the first game.
@@zerafina6623 To answer your questions : 1. It's normal that Amicia doesn't really have any motherly love since it's explained in the first game that she spent most of her time spending time with Hugo and trying to find a cure for him. As for Hugo and his relationship with his mother, they sometimes have scenes where they clearly care about each other (e.g when he controls rats after his mother is murdered) although the game is much more focused on hisrelationship with Amicia 2. It's said during the fight between Arnaud and the Count that he sold Arnaud's son at the mercy of their opponent during war, so Arnaud holds a grunge against him. 3. I actually have no idea lol
Poor Amicia 😢she has lost literally everything, in just one day she lost her dog, her father and then her home, then a short time later she lost her mother and if that wasn’t bad enough she was forced to kill her own brother to save the world. How she managed to recover from that kind of trauma I shall never know
Well, i can say that, being almost 40 years old doesnt save you crying at the end. Thanks for Asobo studio for this masterpiece. I hope we'll see the new game soon.
I really love how this story, the game, and the characters are evolving in this series. Such a sweet delight! First game was just an innocent journey, second is a struggle for answers and fate, third will be for survival maybe. Would really love more RPG and open-world elements like quests, friends, enemies characters like in Witcher 3 vibes with multiple endings or they could continue this story type route too. I love whatever they got in store for us!
In my three hours of gameplay, I can't tell you how many times I've said to myself, "This game is better than a movie!" More than graphics, more than enemies and weapons, above all, this game is amazing in the relationships and interactions between characters. you can't stop to follow their conversation. This game is a masterpiece! Really! ☠💀☠💀☠
God. Absolutely amazing scenario, concept and design. I watched it like it was a tv show. And cried a lot. This game definitely deserves more recognition. Well done 👏
It’s so amazing story and astonished scenario, thank you devs for doing that. Music and voice acting got my heart. This ending reminded how it’s important to take care of our family and close friends I wish you good luck with other games
Yeah, definitely. I watched the whole thing not a fairytale or sparkly rainbows and flowery showering ending. Happy moments are brief and the characters are constantly suffering right till the very tragic end.
Its incredible how they tried to make this game feel like uncharted and god of war The gameplay felt like the last of us at some points and the ending like hellblade And the post credits scene like the mountains from kaer morhen and a sad ending like rdr
I discovered the first game and played it toward the beginning of the pandemic and just became so invested in these characters and the world they created. In my opinion, while not perfect, each game is a masterpiece in its’ own right. And I love this franchise and game so much! It’s absolutely beautiful, even the ending, as difficult as it was to complete because of what had to be done. They make the player care so much about the characters. I plan to play through the game again at some point and take the time to do everything but I feel I need time to process and because knowing what is coming hurts lol. In the meantime I keep revisiting videos like this to see my favorite bits and because it’s just that good. Thank you so much for posting! Hope everyone reading finds comfort and camaraderie in the comments section! 👊🏻

Absolutely beautiful. From start to finish, it was really, really beautiful. And that hesitation in the end, Its like you don't want to do it. I felt it. I would hesitate too if I played it.
I just don't know how to stop watching this playthrough! I feel like a kid at school obsessed with a game, and the first one innocence. I love the bond between the various characters, and it's strange, but I wish I knew them in real life. I would've loved a third installment, but after everything they went through, the characters probably need to get on with their lives.
The story and the ending was a masterpiece. Amicia de rune i felt you. I know what it's like when you give everything trying to save what you've care and love the most in your life and then in the end everything's fall apart and the whole things kinda turning to pointless.
Going to the extreme leading to catastrophe seems to be the theme of this game. The Order/ Mother tried to deal with the problem with extreme rationalism (science), it backfired; the Countess, on the other hand, tried to use extreme irrationalism (the cult thing). It again backfired on themselves spectacularly; Each time when Amicia loses it and enrages, shits happened and things got even worse; and the Count could have it better if he just stick to his little cult thing and stay protecting his people, but he just chose to go on a forever war path and it ended up fucking everyone up. Any above wasn’t actually bad per se. Alchemy did help Hugo in the first game; and the cheerful environment built by the cult did give him hope. The point is it has to be used moderately.
I don't know, Hugo is considered no different than nuclear weapons in what is happening today during the war between Russia and Ukraine. Everyone wants to take advantage, but no one remembers people's sufferings, and there are many who want to use this situation to launch nuclear missiles.
This is a great point that I hadn't thought of yet. I just finished the game a few days ago, and my first read was how much the story is about making mistakes and having to live with the consequences.
Yeah, when you really think about it, a lot of what happened could have been prevented or handled better. The entire two games are domino effects of people not communicating, not using common sense, giving in to impulsive behaviors, and in-fighting that could have been spared for more safe moments. I relate to Amicia in many ways because I'm an emotionally driven person, but they try to also paint her as super smart and resourceful. And not once did she stop to think of Arnaud's perspective of why he did what he did. Even after being betrayed by the Count and Countess, she was still angry and begrudging to help him from being hanged, like maybe stop and think that this bad guy also probably betrayed your friend. I know she's a teenager, but it was right there in her face and instead she just lays into her anger. I was actually hoping that lesson was gonna be taught earlier with Vaudin, because he had a great line about her burning people when she's out of control and him being a red herring "bad guy" could have been useful in teaching to not judge people on surface impressions. I mean, in a way it works for how drained and exhausted Amicia feels at the end. You really start to think, damn these kids can't catch a break. But so much really was just adults failing them over and over, and it's hard to sit through in my opinion. Then again, I've never been one for tragedies; always hated Romeo and Juliet for that exact reason. It just genuinely feels like everyone's throwing a temper tantrum, and since no one's taking responsibility the truly good characters suffer for it.
The metaphor is this about the child being Yaldabaoth, humanity itself and it's innocence. Corrupted by the powers and the feminine energy trying to lead it, eventually it became too much. This lies a esoteric gnostic meaning within, wherein as you said, it was supposed to be happy.
@@TheREALHugo4 Plague Tale is an 8/10. Elden Ring is a 10. Plague Tale fumbles with the way it introduces mechanics. And its combat/stealth is merely adequate. I'll be back to say I told you so when Elden Ring sweeps award shows this year.
@@bigmeatswangin5837 Don't care about goty anyways. A Plague Tale Requiem will always be a masterpiece and elden ring has a poorly written story, only bosses, no interest so no thanks.
I'm currently playing Innocence. Like it a lot. I like games where the protagonist goes from not being able to hold a gun, or a knife, to being killing machines.
Creative and interesting story, amazing voice acting, breathtaking visuals, fun gameplay. A little but jenky at times but that's okay. Absolutely loved playing through it and thanks for helping me with your video because i got stuck a couple of times xD This is truly a masterpiece.
I played the Innocence on PS4 but still don't have the chance playing the Requiem since I don't have PS5. Thank you for this video, I enjoy every seconds watching this and my heart goes all the way for Amicia and Hugo, also Lucas who stays with them until the end even after all those things.

what do you tink this is the end of the gsme a plauge tale?

By mass execution, before the arrival of Columbus, the land defined as the 48 contiguous states of America numbered more than 12 million. Four centuries later, it had been reduced by 95% (237 thousand). How? When Columbus returned in 1493 he brought a force of 17 ships. Fifty years later the Spanish census recorded only 200 living! Las Casas, the primary historian of the Columbian era, writes of numerous accounts of the horrendous acts that the Spanish colonists inflicted upon the indigenous people, which included hanging them en masse, roasting them on spits, hacking their children into pieces to be used as dog food, and the list continues.
This did not end with Columbus’ departure, the European colonies and the newly declared United States continued similar conquests. Massacres occurred across the land such as the Wounded Knee Massacre.

I feel the exact same way.
I feel the same, but with the 'Requiem' in the title, I knew it would end this way
Relax, there might be a third game, just with a different protagonist and a different story. Amicia's story is not over, she has a few things to atone for.
Well... I came in with high hopes and left depressed... Excellently executed.

Agreed. I need some closure. Plus, Amicia has similar blood in her veins.......
if we look at the end credits of this game, there is a video clip showing a blanket with a nice cloth, the sound of a respirator, the sound of a writing instrument scratching, and a sound like high heels.
They are driving our production, and if they don’t like what we’ve done, we need to do something else."
Maybe if the game does well within its one year period, on average since sequels for games this big takes a good chunk of time to make and we're on the 6th month right now, maybe a threequel will be made?
Half a year or a quarter of a year is still a grace period since big games are come with a price on many things like graphics and such, we all don't want another "Sonic 06"-like incident. Btw, the span of release date between Innocence and Requiem is more than 3 years, just for comparison
The game is just a masterpiece!!!
The gameplay and level design were just out of this world, the devs really put some hard work to it.
But the story, was just on another level, there are very few stories that made shed a tear.

@@aryangod2003 I can respect that.
Although I loved it
At its foundation it's a puzzle game and puzzle games are known for being linear in that way
Same with limited set of actions
A lot of the areas in the game are placed there for puzzles and story to get you to the next area.
But story was incredible
It was out of this world
I'd say it's definitely on the same level as a gow game storytelling and the last of us.
Gamers have low standards these days if they call this a masterpiece...
Oh, I completely forgot about all the bugs that constantly get you stuck and force you to restart the section...
Story was indeed incredible but I have questions
-is it just me or does the mother and her children Amicia and hugo lack sweet motherly interaction
-kinda unclear for arnaud to turn into a good guy and suddenly go for the Count
-In the ending, I thought the Count was gonna take Hugo back to his island why did he land on the same place Amicia and the others landed
Overall story was still bomb. I already expected bugs because of those rats. Multiple object movements normally causes bugs in most engines. Puzzle was good, you really have to work for it. I hope they make more of these. I'm kinda saddened they didn't show the twin girl that survived the fiasco back in the first game.
@@zerafina6623 To answer your questions :
1. It's normal that Amicia doesn't really have any motherly love since it's explained in the first game that she spent most of her time spending time with Hugo and trying to find a cure for him. As for Hugo and his relationship with his mother, they sometimes have scenes where they clearly care about each other (e.g when he controls rats after his mother is murdered) although the game is much more focused on hisrelationship with Amicia
2. It's said during the fight between Arnaud and the Count that he sold Arnaud's son at the mercy of their opponent during war, so Arnaud holds a grunge against him.
3. I actually have no idea lol
I don't have the money right now, but like this, I can still experience the game. Thank you.

Poor Amicia 😢she has lost literally everything, in just one day she lost her dog, her father and then her home, then a short time later she lost her mother and if that wasn’t bad enough she was forced to kill her own brother to save the world. How she managed to recover from that kind of trauma I shall never know
Hope that Amicia Trauma Story will be continued with a Plague Tale 3 lets hope fingers crossed for the team of Asobo Studio
I like when you finish the objective "Reach Hugo" at the end, the game doesn't tell you what to do. You know what you have to do.
Well, i can say that, being almost 40 years old doesnt save you crying at the end. Thanks for Asobo studio for this masterpiece. I hope we'll see the new game soon.
It's indeed depressing. Too bad that I can't cry easily like you do...
My goodness....the music.....man.....just masterful. Phenomenal gameplay MkIceAndFire.
Just started playing and I’ve already died a handful of times 😂 I LOVE IT
Shucks. I started it yesterday and still dying so I took a break to play Gotham Knights. I died less time in the first game. 🤣🤣🤣
"Sweet delight" lol
@@bigmeatswangin5837 the way of storytelling i mean, i just finished the game today. I am kinda on that vibe
is a third game confirmed?
@@Alysseus not yet, just saying if it happens it'd be nice
@@rohanverma9057 I mean the game is successful so I'm gonna assume yes in a few years we'll get a third.
Really!
☠💀☠💀☠
It's the way she looks at the little stool at the end. That's what made me cry.
Long gameplay, good story,no long boring cutscenes,no sidequest as an excuse for longer gameplay,,i hope they continue to make games like this
God. Absolutely amazing scenario, concept and design. I watched it like it was a tv show. And cried a lot. This game definitely deserves more recognition. Well done 👏
I hope people will recognize the incredible quality of this game and not just as game but as true piece of Art!
@@helmort Definitely! As an illustrator and designer, I'm 100% agreed with you.
Just spent 11 hours watching the most amazing game thank for a brilliant experience it was like watching a movie thank you 😊
That was an amazing trip. What a game!
Ikr!
It’s so amazing story and astonished scenario, thank you devs for doing that. Music and voice acting got my heart. This ending reminded how it’s important to take care of our family and close friends
I wish you good luck with other games
The ending when Amicia was talking to Hugo’s grave legit made me sob 😭
That game is just absolutely stunning.
Guys is this emotional. I don’t think I can. If something happens, I don’t want to cry. I’ve already fallen in love with the characters
emotional as hell, better not to watch
@@kuczekk Thanks friend
Yh dont watch it if u dont want ur heart ripped out of ur chest. Im still recovering
I just beat it today and let me tell you, I was fighting holding back tears. This game got me too emotionally involved, but it’s such an amazing game.
Yeah, definitely. I watched the whole thing not a fairytale or sparkly rainbows and flowery showering ending. Happy moments are brief and the characters are constantly suffering right till the very tragic end.
Its incredible how they tried to make this game feel like uncharted and god of war
The gameplay felt like the last of us at some points and the ending like hellblade
And the post credits scene like the mountains from kaer morhen and a sad ending like rdr
Very awesome gameplay! This is my favorite channel for walkthrough games! Keep it up! ❤

God bless you and your family and whoever is reading this message. God bless you and your family also. I just beat Callisto protocol now I’m going to go and try this one out then I’m gonna tackle evil West.
Absolutely beautiful. From start to finish, it was really, really beautiful. And that hesitation in the end, Its like you don't want to do it. I felt it. I would hesitate too if I played it.
Dude! Why are you scamming people bro?!
Hi first replay
ending was masterpiece? as expected he killed by his daughter and she and others reacted it the way u expect. nothing interesting
This game is a MASTERPIECE!!!😍😭
Wait until god of war but yeh this game is hell a masterpiece
I could really feel the hesitation when MK made Amicia held her sling when she was about to shoot at Hugo, that's when I started crying.
This game made me cried. This game is really a treasure. Thank you
I really hope this game win the game of the Year Award they really really done it... ubisoft, EA should learn from them how to make games...
Elden Ring spits on this game.
@@bigmeatswangin5837 LMAO Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
Nope.
@PyroX A Plague Tale Requiem is without a doubt a masterpiece. No need for Elden Ring.
One of the best games I've ever played. If you haven't played it you really MUST. This game and The Last of Us are my two all time favourites.
I just got done with it and if it doesn't win goty then it's rigged
You seem to love games filled with cliches and bad gameplay
@@dimitarbelchev3062 who gives a fuck 🤣
@@Anonymous39764 yeah for sure man, it's a wicked game, definitely better than the first one
@@dimitarbelchev3062 what are u talking about lol
this game is awesome, the storyline is the best I've ever played in 10 years.
I'm currently playing Innocence. Like it a lot. I like games where the protagonist goes from not being able to hold a gun, or a knife, to being killing machines.
*man got burned to death*
Guard: “body’s still warm, I know you’re still around, you bastard.”
Creative and interesting story, amazing voice acting, breathtaking visuals, fun gameplay. A little but jenky at times but that's okay. Absolutely loved playing through it and thanks for helping me with your video because i got stuck a couple of times xD
This is truly a masterpiece.
The blood, the death, while you will hear the sounds of choir singing in the background, gives me goosebumps
really love this dude... i watch you everytime i can't afford a game... lol...
RIP KING HUGO.......❤️ The voice acting was amazing, also the music, almost cried at the ending, this game was truly a masterpiece, loved it.
i really hate to say this but i'm crying. Amicia really hurt a lot in this. its just too much for her as an older sister.
ohh thank ypu i just messaged you n your telegram thank you so.
For me, this game is underrated. The story flow really good.
Wow this is absolut masterpiece !!! Bravo assobo
Goodness Lucas, you set the bar so high, no mountains of rats can reach.
Was waiting for full game thanks 🙏
Hugo in end felt like it was my life and my loved ones wanting to save me
DOPE. Ty for uploading earnestly and admirably
You can feel the care that went into this. Gorgeous visually and the story is great. We definitely need more games with soul.
Playing this game now. Some part get me confusing and this video will help. Thank you...
Soundtrack at 29-30 minutes is something super high... i loved this when was playing this mission.
bro you are awsome! I watched your olaythrough of the first game and got it! and keep up the great work I love it
This game and its previous one are truly master pieces, literally, everything about them is beautiful.
I can’t stop crying over baby Hugo 💔😭 he should live like a normal child !! Not in pain … omg it hurts so much
I play this game in PC and I like this very much.
Gameplay mechanism - Super

Just finished watching the whole gameplay_ Never thought I would cry 😢
Man, played this for the first time last night and that fire escape sequence before the title card was EPIC!
I literally cried in the end … hugo . 🥺
I played the Innocence on PS4 but still don't have the chance playing the Requiem since I don't have PS5. Thank you for this video, I enjoy every seconds watching this and my heart goes all the way for Amicia and Hugo, also Lucas who stays with them until the end even after all those things.
Bow to this game. Love & respect for developers. Real talent.
this game made me cry. in years i haven't felt emotions towards any game. the character connection, the love they hage for each other. a chapter didn't feel like a chapter it felt like a new beginning. such a beautifuly well written game. 10/10.
I like how Amicia just eventually embraces Hugo's powers to achieve bloodlust. Watching Hugo go on a killing spree was a sight.
The moral of the story is, using evil against evil doubles and squares the evil.
I just installed this on my Alienware 15R4 with gtx 1070, I can only use low with 50% scale for FHD resolution.
This is by far the best medieval open world RPG I’ve ever seen, so perfectly beautiful
lol They released a game... and it won the Oscar. Nice work! Excellent.
Amicia lost her loved once. Such a sad ending. What a masterpiece. Looks like there will be another part modern day plague tale. This is my game of the year
I just finished the game just now its really sad 😥 ending.
Rip king Hugo de rune 💔
