I made a "Tyne And Wear Metro Challenge" video years ago in 2015 and this just brings the memories back dude. I would definitely visit and refresh my experience soon, loved that!
The best section is from Byker, over the viaduct, then underground into Manors. It feels like a rollercoaster ride and the view of the Quayside is great. The second best part is the ferry ride from North to South Shields, sadly missed out.
A well presented video with factors and figures giving details about the Metro. When it was first built everybody (OK, perhaps not everybody) thought it was strange ending at Bank Foot, rather than going to the airport. Another puzzle to me anyway .. some of the underground platforms are very long, although every train is always just a double carriage. Regards from Whitley Bay, which is on the Metro 😄

@@jaffacakecraigy are well all of it if you went from monument to airport then you could of gotten metro all the way to Sunderland
@@traceybeaty4494 all depended on what train i got 1st at the beginning of the day, but wasn’t trying to do it quick, just see how long it took :)
