『君は放課後インソムニア』は、青春漫画の旗手・オジロマコトの最新作。
石川県七尾市を舞台に、不眠に悩む男子高生・中見丸太と、同じ悩みを抱える女子高生・曲伊咲を描く青春ストーリー。
「ラプス」は原作マンガを読んで、Homecomingsが書き下ろした新曲です。

僕が住んでいた海のそばの町は、くもりの日が多くて有名なのですが、不思議と夜になると星がたくさんみえて、玄関のまえでよくお母さんが星の名前を教えてくれました。そのときの凛とした空気の匂いを込めて、ふたりの長く静かな夜のために歌を書きました。
自分が育った石川県を舞台にしたこんなにも素敵な作品に携わることができて、とても光栄に思います。今度帰ったらまたひとつ星の名前を覚えたいと思います。

畳野彩加(Vo./Gt.)、福田穂那美(Ba./Cho)、石田成美(Dr./Cho) 、福富優樹(Gt.)からなる4ピースバンド。
これまで3枚のアルバムをリリースし、台湾やイギリスなどでの海外ツアーや、4度に渡る「FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL」への出演など、2012年の結成から精力的に活動を展開。心地よいメロディに、日常のなかにある細やかな描写を紡ぐような歌詞が色を添え、耽美でどこか懐かしさを感じさせる歌声が聞く人の耳に寄り添う音楽で支持を広げている。
2017年からは、イラストレーター・サヌキナオヤ氏と共同で、映画と音楽のイベント「New Neighbors」をスタート。彼女たちがセレクトした映画の上映と映画にちなんだアコースティックライブの二本立てイベントを主催。2019年4月公開の映画『リズと青い鳥』の主題歌や、同年4月公開された、映画『愛がなんだ』の主題歌を担当。Vo畳野は、くるりやASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATIONの楽曲にゲストボーカルで参加するなど、活動の幅を広げている。
IRORI Recordsより2021年春メジャーデビュー。
アニメ観ました、ハマりました。話の終わり、少し無音の状態からこの曲に繋がる感じがとても心地よいです。このMVもアニメの世界観とリンクして夜から朝のふたりだけドキドキ感が良いですね。

ほぼルートのみの心地よいベースサウンドの土台に、BOSSのCE-1みたいな古くさいコーラスが深くかかったアルペジオが乗っていて、大変気持ちいい曲。パッと聴き民生くんかくるりの子が書いた曲かと思ってビビってたどり着いたら若い子達だった😊
ギタリストのバランス感覚が優秀なんだろうなー。すっごい秀逸なギターのアレンジですね。

I was in Japan shortly after this song was released. At one sleepless night I just went out of my airbnb and wandered on the outskirts of Tokyo. One of the biggest cities but I remember meeting like only 3 or 4 people on a 3 hour walk.
Went to some empty shrine, was on a golf & baseball fields which were next to the Edo river, went to some random park and bought a choco-mint ice cream from a vending machine, and then went back. I had this song playing on repeat during that time and whenever I hear it I just transport there.
It was chill but a very mundane experience at the time, but I'll always remember it so fondly thanks to this song.
Sounds awesome. This song will forever remind you of that time 100%.

It's crazy how a song you hear once almost sounds nostalgic right off the bat and i feel like the beauty of it is how her lyrics just kick in right at the beginning. It feels as if your already mid song and goes from a fun upbeat buildup to just a calming and relaxing chorus. Really just beautiful and I love the end credits of Insomniacs with the visuals going along to this 🙏💙

The song is a perfect theme song for the anime Insomniacs after School. Though I can't understand Japanese, the melody erased the language barrier. Thanks to Muse Asia for licensing and streaming the series on TH-cam for free. I've been intrigued from the series when I saw the manga art style which is beautiful.

This song is so perfect when you're walking alone at night, the beat is so perfect.
With the current state of modern songs today (particularly western songs with the trash non sensical lyrics), hearing this song is a breath of fresh air with a brush of nostalgic feel. Glad I was able to discover an underrated masterpiece.
