Hey Timmy, I remember in your SM4 review you ran into it being shouty and uncomfortable after a while. I ran into the same issue, and I realized the problem was my DAC driving it way too hard. I switched to a lower powered DAC and it is incredibly smooth now. It's only 7 ohm, so you might have run into the same problem with your setup. Great reviews 👍
Same here as well. I switched from dongle dac to 3.5mm jack of my Xperia phone and it sounds fantastic. Apple dongle works as well. But with a little bit more power like fiio KA11 make it shouty and have more piezo zing pronounced.
When I got my EM10 first 2 days I hardly listened to it because it felt fatuiging. but after that I started liking it. I think I enjoy it more than my Heyday.
Well I'm shocked, another set tuned with sucked out midbass and low mids, lol. For those who actually like bass guitar and percussion, those tunings are so awful.
@@hazi5961 thats an over reaction. Truth be told, no set truly is harman. What the OP is referring to is moondrops interpretation of harmen that everyone thinks is harman, but actually is scooped more at 300hz.
@@Choloo-jf7fwthat's literally just Harman IE though, the only Harman set that sounded not lean to me is the Xenns Top and that has even more mid bass and less upper mids emphasis than the EM10.
I found it to be a great IEM, however, it sorely lacks the fun bass-kick factor of the CX 400-II, making me lost as to how to get an actual upgrade to that IEM.
holy shit! I was an owner of the CX 400-II many years ago - these were my favorite IEMs, and I'm still trying to find something similar to them with no success. Please share your experience in case you find an analog of CX 400-II.
@@RainbowCrewPeople I have, since my initial comment, been able to get close to the CX-400 II by using a custom PEQ on the FiiO Q15, so it's a great upgrade, but might very well be replaceable with cheaper IEMs. I've tried way too few IEMs to make any certain claims. (Also, I've got a much more detailed reply, but something deletes my comments)
@@ArtificialDjDAGX wow, thank you for the response! I'm using Fiio M11s, could you please provide details about the custom PEQ settings? That would be really helpful.

It also has a great fit. And what I personally like, it has no nozzle grill, which is prone to collecting condensate from air in my experience. Also nice, light and flexible cable with a good chin slider.
I was like you when I discovered the hobby 😅, this year I bought my first 250 euros iem and it was worth it, planning to buy more expensive iem even if I'm not a reach kid like some here 😂
Watch Mark's Harman video.
DO IT!! th-cam.com/video/jhG_mSVWLCc/w-d-xo.html
thank you for this review - was considering a couple of the iems mentioned, but owning the xenns top, i'll keep that set instead.
The Wan'er Studio has been released on July 6, will you review it?
Also, I've noticed that the Supermix is missing on the IEMs ranking list.
Hi timmy, where do you rank Hype 4?

same issue, maybe because of the small impadance the SM4 is sensitive to the dac or source

EM10 sounds super natural better than anything I've tried in Japan
Better than trailli?

As long as an iem does what it does well and isn’t harsh then I like it 👍
Please do a review of FlipEars iems! They look hellaaaaaa good
Another Harman iem
Not a fan of Harman tuning 😢
GREAT comparisons! OMKIII
Nah, not a big fan of Harman. Lack of mid bass, too bright for vocal and lack of airy sound around 10k~15k

Wait I thought Harman got good midbass
What I mostly dont like about Harman tuning is how the midbass and upper mids sound.
Will you review the tangzu Xuan nv ?
I need some more boost in the lower end region 😅 I want my bass to be hard hitting and slamming(that's why I love your davinci)
i hope someone make a tune target.

Missing the unboxing videos! Lol!

Whyyy you compare with this old in ears ???? You shuold compare Vs mega5st ; pilgrim ; etccc
wouldn't u prefer a harman tuned iem to be compared to orther harman tuned iems?
Because we're talking Harman IEMs
these have tunings that are too different.
Give me one of your the best iem for free Im the first one here
I was here before you but I was busy focusing on the video
Coming into a video and immediately asking the channel for a free IEM without watching the full video first is pathetic
$400 for IEMs, bro stop smoking that shyt better yet stop doing this for the money be honest or leave !
His top preferred iem is $3000 anni, you better leave this hobby if you’re broke
400 is nothing in the iem world
