I like this channel, but I always feel a bit melancholy after seeing so many familiar people have passed. I remember when I was a kid and grown-ups would say, *"Life is so short."* Now I'm in a position to realize what they meant. The people you honor on this channel have all made a contribution to the world in one way or another. Hopefully, those of us who never achieved fame or greatness can be proud of some small contributions during our time on this earth. 🙏💖
I have wondered this myself. I think the people you are referring to and make the most difference in anothers life are what's considered family and close friends, their comparison and loyalty represents ones best attributes. I learned this by the fond thoughts and memories of those that have gone before me though the years.

He leaves behind a young wife and 3 young sons. There is a go fund me acct. for his wife please consider donating if you can. His partner was critically injured also, she remains in the hospital. From the minute we are born, we are near the departure lounge, some like my baby brother, don’t even make it past there, others like two neighbours are in great shape and over 100. On a related note, I recently saw an old Howard Stern video of a Graham Nash interview which was very enlightening to me. I couldn’t have picked Graham out in a photo before and knew nothing about him or the things he said about Crosby and the people in their lives. I love a lot their music and thoroughly enjoyed the interview ( Howard was very appreciative too), I recommend it if you haven’t seen it. I should search for Crosby interviews.

I can’t tell you how I looked forward to seeing Arthur Duncan dance on the Lawrence Welk show when I was young. If he wasn’t featured I’d be so disappointed. Thank you, Mr Duncan, for so many years of entertainment.
RIP Gina Lollobrigida. She was an underrated comic actress who made films like Beat the Devil more entertaining.

I had the Evel Knievel wind up stunt man on the bike. I think my dad wanted boys, and often got cool boy toys. I’m knocking on a bit now, but everything seems to end an era these days.
Everytime when I think of death, I think of a campfire where you see the ambers burning so brightly traveling up in the air, till it just disappears. I know death is a reality and a part of the cycle of life, but I hate it so much. The only comfort I have is the premise that I'll meet my love one's later, forever. Whatever happens, happens, but Believing in a afterlife gets me though this reality of real life. Thanks for acknowledging those whom we love and had shaped our perceptions for a happier world.
It's a sad fact that an awful lot of the icons I listened to and watched as I grew up will be on this list all too soon.
Didn't know this young man, Tyeler Harris but glad you brought this to our attention. He was an EMT in rural Wyoming. He leaves behind his wife a stay at home mom and 3 young sons. There's a go fund me account on line for his family. Please give let's help in this small way!!!! He was killed responding to an accident in a snow storm, his partner was also critically injured, she remains in the hospital, there is a go fund me for her also!!!! Please help, thank you
I loved watching Arthur Duncan on The Lawrence Welk Show. I knew he could also sing but I didn't know he was on The Betty White Show. He and all of these other wonderful people will be missed.
Yes, he had toured in Europe for a few years but his first TV gig was The Betty White Show. Betty received hate mail and several stations threatened to boycott her show. Betty's response was to give Mr. Duncan more airtime. May they both rest in peace.

I've even met a few during my wayward days. I realize my own time will be soon, but maybe I'll party at the huge party in the sky and sing in the band too! RIP, Dave, your songs were a part of my life and others too.

That number deserves a fair amount of skepticism.
Neither I or my Husband had ever heard of her (embarrassed about that!) until I watched this video. I CANNOT IMAGINE living to 100 LET ALONE to OVER 118 years old!! And she looked SO INCREDIBLY SWEET in those photos. What an incredible honor it would've been to have met and visited with her. ❤❤❤

As we pay tribute to all those here, I have to say a heartfelt thank you, to Gina Lollobrigida. Her role in, ‘Come September,’ with Rock Hudson, Bobby Darin, Sandra Dee, and Joel Grey, will never be forgotten. For those that have not seen that comedy, treat yourself to some hearty laughs.
Come September was wonderful and light hearted. She was such a pretty lady. Classic Italia.

RIP Robbie Kinevil I was raised in an Evil Kenevil fan household. We never missed a show he was on. So I was tickled when his son Robbie came to the state fair in the 90s and took my sons and mom to his show. He was an amazing showman like his dad.

It was good French wine🙂 I'm sure. No sulfites or other nonessential chemicals. I bet The chocolate didn't have soy in it either. The French have good non GMO foods.

Crosby abused his body for so many years with toxic substances. It’s quite remarkable he made it to such a ripe age. TBH, he beat the odds. He was a great musician…a true artist and a legend.

Did drugs. Drank too much, and because of his status bumped alot of people and got a transplant..a real jerk too
He got 2 liver transplants after decades of drugs and alcohol. Money will get you what you want. Bumped to the head of the transplant list twice.

Too heartbreaking, first Bachman then Crosby and I can't forget Chris Ford, 3 people that I admired . I hope that they are resting in peace. You know that Crosby is a miracle that he lived to 81, David had a liver transplant in 94, plus he turned his life around from years of alcohol and drug abuse. If you think that you can't give up drugs and alcohol,think of David Crosby he did.

Lisa Marie also passed but she wasn't a movie or anyone big. RIP to All I love Crosby that band was terrific. RK was just like his Dad had to jump over anything. My Mom passed away at 86 in 2021 from dementia, so many people are getting it and passing away from it. 💜

Seeing Robbie Knievel in an obituary actually reminds me of how old I've gotten myself...I was a fan of his dad's. Same could be said about Lisa Marie.
...I've never known of any period of time where so many people of notoriety have passed away as I've witnessed here in the last 2 years but as they say "Death is something none of us are getting out of alive".

This is actually very tastefully done. The singer, co-founder of soul group Blue Magic, was someone who I thought about - not knowing that he passed, in a long drive yesterday, while listening to the group's songs. I was thinking, I've heard his voice since the 70's, but don't know his name, unlike the lead singer... tenor, Ted Mills. Odd that this came up as a recommendation on my phone, and he was included, but life is full of odd happenings.

Glad to see Jay Briscoe mentioned. He was highly influential and loved in his industry, and helped put on what is considered 3 of the best matches of 2022, the 3 match series of Briscoe Brothers vs FTR.
The Briscoes were one of the reasons why I watched RoH💙💪🏆
So many people die of cancer when they should have another 20-30 (or more) years of life left to enjoy. My Dad and older brother did. Its just awful. I don't know of a family who hasn't lost someone to that horrible disease. The whole human race will celebrate when its finally conquered.

@@WillChil466 But cancer treatments keep advancing. Survivability is a lot better now than 30 or 50 years ago. I firmly believe a cure for most every cancer will be found one day.
I lost both my parents to lung cancer only ten months apart. Both died at age 69. It's a terrible disease and you are right. It takes too many lives too soon. I'm 68 and it really gets me thinking. They both smoked and I am so glad I never did.
