Name drop Hutchinson, I felt like I existed again. Stay honest and you will be our next Governor.

With good people like you we have hope. I'd vote for you if I lived in Minnesota! You're a good honest man. I've followed you all through the stupid with Covid.

Tell your friends in Minnesota then. Or share this.

MN prisons are NOT overcrowded. Walz has has worked steadily to reduce time spent incarcerated to 1/3 of the time they are sentenced to, putting criminals back on the streets faster and not allowing them to correct their criminal behavior through treatment or skill building but instead they recidivate, only to be let out again too quickly. The prison near me has an entire living unit empty. Courts are backed up. What are your thoughts, sir?

People that support "Defund the Police" should list their names / addresses with local law enforcement on a "Do Not Respond" 911 list; they don't want the assistance, that's fine. Then they obviously 'don't want to call it' either. It's hypocritical to both support 'defund the police' and call 911 in an emergency -- pick a side, then live with the consequences.
A note to the criminals - no matter how big you think you are, there's always someone bigger willing to take you down, and most of them do not wear uniforms; and you're really not going to need a retirement plan or 401K, life expectancy isn't high when you choose a criminal / drug lifestyle.

Don't take me completely wrong here. Your stance on theft of liberties via inflated fear of a 97%-99% survival rate of a man made virus was pretty damn good. Just wish you were that good on guns.

Thanks for the comment. I'd advise you to look at the bills I've authored and fought for, along with my recent podcast with Representative Jeremy Munson. I've been clear about protecting the 2nd Amendment and you can see how here: drscottjensen.com/guns/

So what is your plan regarding Incarceration? You say you want a robust penal system with enough cells. Our prisons are already overcrowded and overpopulated with non-violent offenders who committed victimless crimes. Do you plan to get them out and fill the ones we have or simply build more prisons? The war on drugs and tough on crime policies of the 80s and 90s did nothing but harm and built a generation of single parent households which is a factor in why crime is spiking. It sounds as if you want to continue that cycle.

Good questions. He's going to need "Inside Men", in order to answer that.
I've been in "The Hood". There is a mix of good and bad.
There are people that will not hesitate to kill, just to satisfy their egos'.
There are many who are honestly good, that get caught up in it all.
I think it's going to have to boil down to communities.
