You're doing great! I was actually pretty impressed by some of your knowledge! Not many people know the word "Chafa" but yeah, it does mean cheap and low quality! Also I believe that unlike many spanish learners, the phrases you're trying to learn are actually great! They sound very natural and not so... textbook-ish. for example "¿De dónde eres?" or "Eres muy hermosa". English speakers tend to overuse pronouns when speaking spanish, and of course it's natural when your native language is constructed that way, but you seem to be learning very useful and natural sounding phrases! Great job! I also want to congratulate you on your overall pronunciation. English speakers tend to struggle a lot with spanish vowel sounds. Right now I can say that you're on the right track with that! I'd like to provide some advice for the way you pronounce "hermosa/hermoso" and also "amable". When you say the word "hermosa", you pronounce all vowels the same. It sounds as if you said "armasa". Don't forget to differentiate each vowel sound! ;P Also "amable" Kinda sounded like "Ameibol". I believe that one of the best parts of spanish is it's pronunciation. Most of the time, vowels have the same pronunciation, regardless of its position on a word! (well, except for when they´re next to a "c", "g", "q", or when it has a ¨ on top of it). In this case, "amable" would be pronounced the same way it is writen! I just wanted to point that out since it was a bit hard to understand what you meant when you said it, but still, you're doing great!! I admire you for learning spanish! Spanish is my first language so I know it must be a bit of a challenge learning it, but i believe that it can be very rewarding as well and that it can be quite useful too!
Thank you for your words and your advice! Yes I’ve been practicing so I’m learning a thing or two for myself. I know I still need to improve on a lot of things so I appreciate your advice. It will help me a lot!
Hey I’d recommend working on pronounciation. Instead of Her-mah-sa or Her-mah-so. It will be Herr-moo-sa and they say it all together Her-mo-sa And then Herr-mo-so, hermoso :)
