they did use to have hints of metalcore, but this aproach is definitely an evolution into a more modern metalcore mixed with their own sound and their theatricality, and i'm LOVING IT
I've never really listened to BVB, so I find it hilarious that everyone who talks about their music also points out how unbelievably hot the frontman is lol
I mean... Andy _is_ hot, just look at the man lol
@@pramusetyakanca1552 agreed
word is they are doing a full EP inspired by Sweeny Todd and im so down for that.
They're releasing a three track EP in late June, it's gonna be awesome!
Hoping people can finally get over their appearance during their older material and realise that they've always been a good band. Wreched and divine is still one of my favourite albums and for good reason
Agreed. Wretched and Divine is so sick!
Wretched and Divine is such a great album! I got a tattoo from it because I love it so much
Yesss I love wretched and Divine!!! The Phantom Tomorrow is also another of my favorite albums of theird
For fuckin' real man. People are always like "BVB famous because front man is unbelievably hot" they are actually a group of most talented and incredible artists. Their work keeps progressing and their music is incredible.
Love a bit of “Cutty Boi McRazorface” lmao
As a BVB fan this song is like the perfect arrangement of my favorite aspects of their past stuff
It’s definitely a blend of everything they’ve done in my opinion, and I’m totally here for it🔥🔥
Thank you for posting this. I joyed your reaction to BVB’s new music video. Recent heavier BVB songs to check out would be Devil, Crimson Skies and Saints of the Blood. For slightly older ones check out Faithless , Coffin and The Legacy. There are music videos for all of them.
I wouldn't mind seeing a Black Veil Brides x Ice Nine KIlls song! I think that could be wicked!
Also, this is a solid track from them, might be my favorite song from them alongside In The End!
YESSSS considering they toured with them and Motionless In White during their trinity of terror tour a few yrs back
This song is amazing!! In the end is one of my favorites! Andy is definitely beautiful ❤️
They may have changed but there’s nothing wrong with enjoying their older stuff even if they don’t go back to that sound. Music is eternal and there’s no reason to not listen to something simply because of those views.
i think he means reacting to it
I TOTALLY agree on this. My introduction to Architects was "For Those That Wish To Exist" and yet I went back and listened to their earlier stuff and "Holy Hell" plus "All Our Gods Have Abandoned Us" are my two favourite albums by them even though I still love their later albums.
Looking back to the old stuff is about discovering great music and knowing how the band has progressed through the years if you didn’t hear them from the start, it’s just like checking out older bands and music from before you were born
as a og fan , who adored andy as sweeney years ago this was nostalgic and loved the screams
How good is this!! They haven’t grabbed me before but this did. I also noticed how beautiful Andy is 😂
Plz do the new starset song brave new world
I couldn't agree more!
I second this, its a banger. So good.
The word i believe Johnny was looking for was "aesthetic". The vibe music suited the aesthetic of the video.
Please do the new STARSET song. It's so good and I've wanted more STARSET from you guys forever
This is definitely far closer in sound to what they did on their debut record, 'We Stitch These Wounds'.
That said, BVB have never been a truly heavy band. Even when they were a Metalcore band they always took the melodic part of the genre to heart. Songs like, 'Perfect Weapon', 'Knives and Pens', 'All Your Hate', and 'Heaven's Calling' sum up their earlier sound pretty well if you wanted to check them out. 'Perfect Weapon' is probably all you need to hear if you only wanted to do one song from their past.
I havent listened to BVB since 2014
This sound is definitely more mature and im here for it
Hope they drop more music like this
I love BVB so much. My fiancé and I just saw them this past Thursday and they were AMAZING. I even enjoyed the openers. The look, the feel, the sound of this video is great. I 🖤 Sweeney Todd and put BVB into the mix…yes! 🖤🖤
I love it. I wasn't much of a fan of BvB until I went to the Trinity of Terror Tour part 2 (Huge INK Fan) and they blew me away with how good they were. I have loved it ever since.
You should take time to go back. This isn’t new, but definitely feels like it’s been a bit… I’m so excited for what’s to come. You should really react to more from them.
Glad to see you guys react to more BVB! They're a great group of genuine dudes who make awesome music and I'm so happy that this new song is taking off so well. Can't wait to see more videos!
You guys need to react to the new All That Remains track; "Divine".
Coming soon!
I've loved their softer stuff, wasn't big into their older music, but I am so here for this. Catchy chorus, darkness, breakdown, sold.
Also I would love to know how Andy's skin is so freaking FLAWLESS. Even without any makeup or digital touch ups...
Love bvb, this song is killer! Johnny you ain’t old mate I’m older than you 😁
Absolutely love this track from BVB. There first 2 albums are more on the standard metal core sound while there other albums to date have been on the rock sound. You saying about it being a lot like Ice Nine Kills is bang on! They do tend to tour together with bands like In This Moment
I think you were looking for the word ‘concept’ like a concept album or piece. And yes I believe this upcoming EP is using the concept of Sweeney Todd. I saw bvb in concert this week and the stage had meat pie posters in the back. And before the come on stage lights go out and orchestral Sweeney Todd starts for about a minute to set the tone! It’s amazing can’t wait for the full ep to come out after this single!
I enjoyed this song i love the sweeney todd musical and movie. I hope they do a nightmare before Christmas thing too next.
I knew you'd like that :D Thanks for checking it out, great reaction!
finally guys, also do all that remains pls
On its way
I frickin missed you guys!! Cutty boy mc-razor 💀🤣 I enjoyed this song, but I haven't been able to fully get into BVB. But the video was really cool
Absolutely crushed this reaction. Not sure if y'all take request or not but id like to recommend burn the witch by dark divine definitely gives me motionless in white and ice nine kills vibes for sure.
Andy says in his book his own improvement is from a mix of finally taking lessons and not being too arrogant to do so, he started recording sober, and either quit or cut back smoking
This sounded so incredibly good live last night in Detroit!
I really think you'd love The Legacy
Happy early birthday Johnny! I love your and Nath’s reactions and have been waiting for this one. I love this song and video! Andy has been a long time fan of the Sweeney Todd music and esthetic. The lyrics relate to the chip on his shoulder about the hate his band has received over the years and how his desire to say “I’ll show you,” has fueled his desire to keep going. He knows seeking revenge is detrimental, but also the desire to say, “I’ll show them,” has been a driving force to continue and always striving for improvement. If you get a chance, there is an interview in TH-cam of him discussing this song. The band and Andy’s father, Chris Biersack, have been commenting on these reviews, so keep an eye out for that. Love you guys! ❤
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Love this song/video & seeing Johnny rock out to it.
Check out the new All that remains song.
10/10🔥
I love this song

Appreciate you!
Same director as INK & FIR & MIW - Jensen Noen
Bros, you’re late. Ronald Radke has done it again.
Never been super big on their music but this one got me!!!
okay I loved this song, but: I absolutely CANNOT WAIT for you guys to react to the 2 new the home team songs!! they are insanely good and the video is pretty cool too.
I just can't stop laughing every time Johnny's age is brought up
fucking obsessed
THANKS FOR REACTING BTW
YOU ARE WELCOME
That was really amazing! Loved it!

Right there with ya in age Johnny, still feel so so young though haha
Where’s the Rain City Drive “Medicate” reaction?! 🙏🏻🫡
Great song. 🤘😎🤘 Great reaction. 😎👍

This band is my guilty pleasure
They're not great but their guitarist is silky smooth & Andy's voice is beautiful at time ..
We re stitch these wounds metealcore classic
This seemed great, hopefully they keep this up
Please react to the new all that remains song
Loved all of BVB excellent return to form and are you guys gonna react to the stand Atlantic triple j like a version cover they did of post malone?
No, triple J block is from sharing it
Bullshit, Johnny. You're still a youngster and don't let Captain Biceps tell you otherwise.
Where's the reaction to wind wakers new song fellas? I've been checking every day and nothing.
Don’t really understand the take that you don’t want to listen to a band’s stuff that you might like just because they might not make more music like it. Why keep yourself from something you might like because something new might not be the same?
I understand psychologically that you potentially set yourself up to simply crave more of something that you're never going to get. It's the logic that if you've never tasted something in the first place then you can't miss it. Naturally humans will always crave more of what they love however that doesn't necessarily mean we should deny ourselves of ever experiencing it if we can just merely be grateful for the fact that it exists at all, even in limited amounts.
