Theres a rarity scale within gold. Welsh and scottish gold is rather high in that world scale. Its not a myth. All the royals have had their rings made of them and the crown jewels and those many people around the world who idolise them would pay a pretty penny for a ring made of the same stuff.
Thanks Karl for the info. I heard that some Welsh gold is 23+ carat . Personally it looks great in the pan in the late evening before dusk. It holds on to that lustre and is quite mesmerising.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Its the rarity and the ties to the worlds most famour royals. You can just imagine a royal fan Bride in asia wanting a scottish or welsh gold engagement ring just like the royals. Scotland and wales are 'THE ONLY' place you get royal grade gold and the royals only use that gold for royal affairs.

Mini dredge next?
I will stick to tea spoons lol.
Decent haul that how many days
I filmed over 3 days and one afternoon. I f I would have gone with no technology (Drones, GoPro cameras and tripods ) maybe I could have found a wee bit more.
Thank you Friend! Any chance you would bring along an old yankee whose dna says he originated in the UK?
Haha, I am beginning to learn that the United Kingdom appears to be passionately divided. This could cause a civil war. I will bare it mind Leroy. Lol.
How much was 2.5g worth?
This is a big question and depends on many factors. Between £40 - £100 per g. But don't quote me on this. I do it for the fun.
Hey that's a pretty good end result considering the dead ends. You live in hope and then you must move on if nothing comes. Looks like you did just that. Mark
Prospecting for me is to make quick decisions and look at what all indications and signs you are presented with as to whether you continue or move on from a spot. Cheers Mark.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures Yeah no point in wasting time on a dead one.....a pleasure to watch.
@@WyeExplorer Appreciate your comments Wye E..cheers.
I agree with you about gold blowing through the narrow sections. It's hard to believe just how much water thunders down there without seeing it in flood. Given the interest in your videos, it might be an idea to include some stuff about good practice for the newcomers to the hobby. The difference between digging into banks and moving gravel off bedrock. Filling in holes etc. I think you said you picked up a lot of litter as well? Would be good to highlight that and show that most panners are actually helping and not destroying the environment as many people seem to think. Just a thought.
Yes great idea and I might do a feature on this. Thanks for the comments Jim.
Very bloody nice😁 couldn't see the weight.
2.5g Rasta. The scales aren't good though I need some to a second decimal place.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures I got some diamond scales in a box with weights and a pair of tweezers that weigh 0.000 for £10 off eBay. They go up to 10grams.the Scottish gold is worth between £90 and £100 a gram.I bought two noogs weigh exactly a gram together and I got them for a bargain at £58! Noogs might be worth more than flour and pickers also.😁🌟
@@rastamanralph6670 yes your right there with them. I will get some better ones for more accuracy. Cheers Buddy.
Just a quick catch up Rasta, I found some Diamond precision weighing scales up to 0.000g so should weigh the dust I normally find. Cheers pal.
@@MrDazP1adv3ntures they are great for dust👍
You already document where you get it, make sure you demand more, not solely based on carat either. Scotland and wales are 'THE ONLY' place you get royal grade gold and the royals only use that gold for royal affairs.
Nice
Cheers
I said in the part 1 you need a pony with your gear. I'd be willing to come give you a hand. Let me know on this comment and I'll give you my email and we will go from there.
Thanks J Lister. I will bare it in mind.

@@jlister9202 there must be some stuff from the ice age up there. It won't be from the local geology though. Try further up near Clapham and beyond.
Thanks for the info dazP I'll keep going through the stuff i bring back home and see if anything stands out. I've only just started getting into it as it seems a good hobby to do
