That's a useless machine, why? cuz of the transmission system. Hydraulic or hydrostatics is just not good for this. As soon as it's against a lil load, the check valves open and, no forward motion anymore, just like a loader.

My friend had a old smaller cat dont remeber size it had 3 in 1 bucket what a great bucket if not over pushed wich is varry easy with small machean. Loader with 3in 1 buckets need to make come back

Ever try cleaning up the edges with a loader? Every rock that hangs on the berm rolls down in front of the tires to get ran over. Wheel dozer blade sticks out enough that the rocks that get away are still clear of the tires. A wider loader bucket would put too much stress on the loader arms and get them twisted up. The dozer blade is better for clean up without being full of material like the bucket. The dozer blade has its place, and while this is no comparison to a track dozer, the speed and mobility make it useful for many things, and they run much cheaper than a track machine.
Seems a bit niche, but there you go. Seems to be a better option for clean up so long as the going's not too tough. - I wonder how difficult would it be to switch and swap the blade and cylinders/supports for a bucket and boom? Would you need to re-fit the cabin controls? Is the counterweight the same? Hmm..

You would need a complete new front frame, implement hydraulics system, and associated operator interface being controls and software. And that’s why they’re two highly productive - and unique - types of Cat equipment!
Local 12 down in Southern California uses those alot , they're considered " wheeled compactors " . All they do is laminate the surface , IMHO . 825 is the way to achieve compaction

Useless! Same size wheel loader with a no-teeth bucket, do exactly the same work. Also can collect the stones and load them directly, when it need it
