This movie have made me realize that my husband is really a man, I remembered during our wedding preparation his family wanted to do something similar, by coming to detect who will be in my bridal train or not, as well as wanting to to automatically run things for me, he immediately put them in their places. Till today everyone just calm like cold water slow peace to flow, they really tried to bully me but he never gave them the opportunity

Honestly Uche Mbunabo deserves award for matured and relatable movies. The creativity and innovation behind this story is just beyond this world.👌 These kinds of movie are rare, it's not everytime you get to watch masterpieces like this, and it's not every channel you get to see them. Movies like A FATHER'S LOVE, DREAM WEDDING, TREASURE IN THE SKY, UNTRUE COLOURS, IN HER SHOES, LOVE, SEX AND PAIN and a lot others I've watched here..my God Sir Uche deserves an award.

I agree that the movie is very educative and nice but am a Ghanaian and married but in Ghana bride family have more power in marriage preparation than the groom family and also that Nana and the bride sis are being too noisy. They are going to the bride home and they have to accept their opinion irrespective of the nationality cos in Ghana groom’s family don’t decide where weeding should be held. Some travel miles to the bride’s family house to have the traditional marriage .cos that what custom’s demands. Again concerning the fabric the groom’s family chose what they want while the bride family also chose what they want to wear , not necessary the same but the bride is very patient kudos 👍🏾 no one is doing anyone a favour by marrying into their family. But in all the movie is interesting

I come in peace oooh my people, but , honestly, I'm not even taking sides, because both families disrespected one another in one way or the other. Marriage involves two different families coming together as one, but most importantly, the groom and the bride are supposed to have the final say and not just agreeing so easily to the decisions of their families. Frankly speaking, a wedding planner was the ideal person since she could actually find a balance between the culture of both families. Finally, you can have your own opinion about an issue but how you present it also matters. A lesson to all.

I love that this movie is showing it's not all about he gives me money, he takes care of me, sends me romantic messages, takes me on several dates and all that, omo! Can he stand up for you??? Can he defend you when needed??? Does he really act like he understands the place or position you have in his life?? Or are you a second option in his life ? Rubbish!
It's such a good thing Amara understands this, the moment you begin to bend from the beginning of everything, you most likely would bend through out the journey, As for Kojo's father so he knew that a man is meant to leave his father and mother and cleave unto his wife but he kept quiet when Kojo was behaving the way he was behaving until Amara(smart girl) packed her bag and left (let's see who is doing who a favour)his eye cleared and the truth came out of his mouth. A good movie is known by the emotions it evokes in a viewer. My emotions were everywhere with this movie. Happy, sad, angry, frustrated, joyful. Immediately Kojo apologized, i forgave him like his bride did. All the actors smashed their roles. This is my first Jay Gardiner's movie. I saw a clip on FB and recognised him as our Asoebiafrica Jay, lols. I am glad that I watched it. Well done to all cast and crew. Whoever took charge of Amara's wardrobe outdid themselves, kudos.
