That's some beautiful piece of advice I got to have a better experience in my master compared to my bachelors, and it was because I was like a friend to my lecturers and professors I think applying that to work is also very useful

I definitely feel like this is something which happens more as you get older simply because you see your friends, colleagues, etc. moving into those 'positions of power' and it really hits you that they're not particularly special (so to speak!) and are still just your friends! Eventually it matters less and less what title they hold, and more who they are.
