- Good day Friends! Once again thank you for tuning in my channel! After getting my valve cover repainted, I ended up replacing it with new Gaskets. In this video I'll be showing you how to replace valve cover gasket the right way with no leaks by using the right tools and properly prepping the surface. Its a very easy process and I guarantee you wont have any leaks! On this video I'll be replacing and installing the valve gasket on my Mitsubishi Evolution 9 Valve cover, which will also work on Evolution 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9! This process that I’ll show you will be quite similar with any type of car!

U got the best tutorials. Clear instructions, clear camera angles, no useless fluff thrown in like every other youtuber. Thanks man! How bad is it if some old gasket/RTV falls into the heads? I have a crapload of RTV hanging off my valve cover/heads not sure how clean I can do the clean up.

Thank you so much for the love and support! Pre filling the oil filter is not necessary, but I just do it out of habit to prevent dry start, but if you have a car that has the filter horizontally, then it could be quite difficult and messy. It’s really up to you, and if you have a vehicle that has a larger oil tank then you shouldn’t have a problem. I just do mine to not risk anything from breaking haha. Thank you! It has to be acid dipped. That was the first thing he said that he would do. He never sandblast because it leaves grit inside the baffles.

It would work, but I just used the silicone on certain areas directed by the Manual by Mitsubishi 👍🏽😊
