I'm curiously skeptical of this example. Knowing real switches, they bounce. Especially large toggle switches designed for high current. Can you explain how your signals from the switch were conditioned. It doesn't look like it was done in software.
edit: Oh wait, you mentioned that at the VERY end. I apologize. Maybe link to the follow-up in the description of the video ;)

One doesn't "compile" fpga code. It's "synthesized". That takes longer. Compiling is a simple process that doesn't take much time.

Just wonder how the loop is triggered? By the toggle switch status change or some else?

Hi, is there any possibility to introduce a digital input of 300MHz squared wave in a way that the fpga counts at the rate of that digital input? (What I mean is to use for example DIO0 as if it was an external clock)

Hi Kavya! Thanks for your question.
There are a few options depending on what you’re needing:
      • In the LabVIEW Example Finder, there is an Example titled “Starter Kit DC Motor Controller (FPGA)” - however it does not use the LabVIEW Robotics Modules.
      • Another option is looking in the NI Community Example Forums - there is a similar example that also uses the Robotics Module: www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/labview-2014-robotics-module/page/lvrobovi/starter_kit_2_pal.html
Looking at other examples in the LabVIEW Example finder or Community would be a great next step. Hopefully this works for you! If not, we recommend visiting our support website: www.ni.com/en-us/support.html. From here, you can share your question with the community, or open a support ticket with our team. @@NIGlobalTH-cam yes sir. In our lab we have that kit and sir told to try to control dc motor using fpga controller so..I searched in your channel and I couldn't find any vedios regarding that.
