- In this video, I had the opportunity to help my buddy dig a 1/2 acre pond. It was my first time digging a pond, I learned alot and was able to run some cool equipment!

If the owner has no use for it you have a valuable commodity! Might get him to pay you to haul it off while screening and selling it, win, win!

I am a handy guy, I have replaced my house roof, I can frame, electrical and plumb pretty well, but it absolutely amazes me to see young guys that can have a machine like these malfunction and you can just jump off do some tinkering and boom, you got it running. I feel so emasculated compared to guys like this. 😁 I couldn’t fix my kids nerf guns when I took them apart because my kids wanted to spray paint them. 😁
Man most of the time I just get started and stumble thru everything. I don’t know a lot, but I know how to get into it lol
I watched your cabin and mini excavator videos! Really interesting stuff. I have a small skid steer that I'm working on and can't wait to play in the dirt with it.

Excellent video and project! Between the two dozers, how different is the old steel D7 to the modern 750 in terms of operation and pushing power?
The 750 is a awesome machine to run. Very comfortable, quiet and climate controlled but it pushes like crazy. The d7 has almost no creature comforts but it also pushes very well. I’d say there about the same when it comes to pushing power
I have two contractor friends who build quite a few ponds. Wheres the core trench for the pond damn?
Enlighten me please. Why do people want ponds of this size (or smaller) on their properties? What are the advantages to having a pond?

A lot of people stock them with fish. I think there a really cool landscape feature
I have to ask: why? People don't build ponds where I live, so I've been wondering whether there is a practical purpose behind it or whether the homeowner wants it "just for pretty".
In any event, your first cabin video showed up in my feed and I had to watch it, because I love creating order out of chaos. I'm looking forward to future episodes. I've found a few good channels in my feed lately; the Almighty Algorithm gets things right from time to time.
