I really enjoyed watching this talk and it would be very much appreciated if you'd keep it up, not only for those who don't have the chance to attend these sessions but also for these young brilliant minds to get exposure so that other people would get to know how much of thinkers can the Algerian youth be.

This topic is a black whole in Algeria I would say. It's never been discussed seriously for the better of students or kids. I can't better agree with you saying that the educational system should live some space and creativity to students. That remind me of a story of mine being in school : The teacher told us to draw a man, most of students made a circle for the head and lines for the other parts of the body, for me it was more like circles everywhere (head, hands, body..) it was related to my love to Pandas, that's how well I could imagine it lol. Next day, when the teacher saw the drawing, she told me to bring my parents and punished me by sending me out from her class to another class where the teacher is known as a scary one. First, I got humiliated in front of my classmates, second since that day I just started to block my imagination and tried to deliver whatever the teacher gave us. And what I remember is that the teacher thought that I was making fun of her by the drawing!! So you can understand better why some of our kids don't like to go to school or are shy to express themselves.. Or even afraid... Last but not least, thank you for bringing up the topic, and you did it so well "clap" :). B. Jasmin

The system that we study with in high schools is literally a disaster. The lessons are difficult and intensive, the study hours are long, and the time is not enough. By God, we, as students, go home mentally exhausted and physically and psychologically exhausted. I hope they find a solution, or we go on strike as a last resort. No, it will not change.
I remember when I used to attend discussions in the us embassy 'well,it was only twice 😂''. Back then ,we had Delia Denlup ' as a teacher in the ENS bouzerea .we used to have a weekly class with her ,the final year , and that's literally the only good thing I got from my 4 years there. We also received Us embassy representatives (dont remember their jobs 😁) when we had the exibition in our School. We said 'thanks and good bye''in the best way to Delia and received our certeficate of acheivement '. I read a poem I wrote for her .it was really emotional 💙😊
🌸 i love this, i hope and encourage you to make more discussions about such imp topics. my opinion, is that the root of the problem with the educational system is that no one is ready to invest and believe in and respect kids, they get the less competent craziest teachers, poor studied loaded curricola.. and i can go forever on how bad it is, am strong believer that if we invest in kids we'll be surprised with the best results. also about kids making choices,i believe 10 yrs olds can choose, not all will know what job is the best for them lol, but they have preference between art or science at least, we can have art primary school that will teach them also basics about other things in life but by art, science schools that teach art by science..etc

Not the shift the blame or anything ,but teachers aren't even free to do what THEY think is good for student ,we ,as teachers ,are really restricted with whta we 'MUST ' do .that's why when a teacher develops himself , still, nth change ,cz simply We don't get to ! XD i firmly believe that my comment wont get any replies from the channel, but im unbelievably crushing on that girl xD. Our educational system ( pedagogy) is a rote-based learning, which it means that the students should only memorize prepetually bunch of facts without even grasping them for the sake of having good marks, and thus passing the year. However, i share the same intuition that math is not being taught the way it ought to be in our schools, because we mostly learn how to solve, say an equation, without knowing what is the use of it in reality. Our educational system again is designed, as it was mentioned in the discussion, to create a work force rather than graduates able to push forward their fields, or even to contribute in scientific community worldwide, and that is basically the problem.
Mental and Physical health should be promoted proportionately and embodied in One person so as to not create an artificial dualism because that is degenerative to humanity.
Good initiative, we need some real things, so why don't we cooperate for that and get something done rather than just analyse, real work needs engeniering, which meens try and fail try and succed, it will be much more effective. the other deal is the qualified stuff and the scientific approch, on which theoritical ground and which blueprints must be followed.
We have the idea of "if it doesn't help me in life , why would i do it" .money , money , money .we are also in an era where we have a lot of things that keep our dopamine high , so if you have healthy food or a cake , your brain will choose the tasty one of course , but if you had two healthy food one presented better than the other , your brain will choose the better looking one. and that what we should do to our children. so we need parent to not expose children to too much unhealthy tech and dopamine at really young age before attending the school so they can find the school can be fun too and the role of the teacher come by trying to present his knowledge and not spit it out like 'if one understood him its fine' and finally the government should implement modern tech and ways that child is exposed and interested in it outside school

@@houssemeddine7447 it keeps religion where it ought to be: out of the school buildings and school books. Then our youth will be taught whats out there.
