@@Elisrecoveryoffroad $40 race fee plus $10 gate fee. And you need an AMA and District 14 card that you can get at the race. Once you have the AMA and District card it will be race fees only for the rest of the year. The first race will cost over $100 because you need those two cards but those cards are good for a year.
great ride. amazing how much faster you are on that new bike. Not that you were slow on the yamaha but I'm sure you placed much better this year overall
Great video as always! I was way behind you in row 15, and having a great ride until I went off the bridge at the 33:46 mark in your video, me and the bike went into the creek! Probably cost me at least 20 minutes or so before I finally got out with help from a volunteer
Sore right shoulder and bent my left radiator and its guard... I'm really lucky it wasn't worse, there are submerged logs there and the bike landed on them but somehow I missed them
@@zombanator3000 ya, that was a douche move for sure. I wasn't thinking and just kept going. I apologized to him after the race. You're the 3rd person to call me out on that. 😂 I feel like an idiot, don't know what I was thinking in the moment. 🙃
Yes, I spaced out/brain dead in the moment. I apologized when I talked to him after that race. Felt like a d-bag. Many have called me out for that already. 🥹
@@philipanthony763 yea. Kept racing at got 12th of 19 with 5 laps in 2hrs 38mins. Gotta get a new visor and put a new sticky on the helmet, then a new front brake line since it got pinched when I smacked that tree.

What time do the race normally start on Sunday
Me too, not racing though I'll be one of the guys wearing track official clothing. Trying to make it safe for you guys.
Can you get there Saturday and camp ?
Thanks for sharing, it was a fun race! I actually really enjoyed the gnarlier trails at the bottom 😊

At 51:58 I’m fueling up lol what a gnarly race
Yo Capt we gotta hit those trails up there with you and the fellas one day I’m in Illinois as well I used to live in Mich
Sounds good. I ride with a few guys from Illinois and a few from Ohio.
Good job man. I had a tough race. Glad you could pit by us. Anytime we can help let us know.
Thanks!

Oh crap, hope you are ok though? I definitely had a rough time also.

Great start!
🤙
you took the real long way around that traffic jam!
I'm full of terrible decisions. 😂
@Captain250FX I think when he said "teamwork" you were supposed to get to the top, then once there. Come back and help him.

@Captain250FX yea... living and learning... get out of breath on a hill and most will get short of patience and be in a rush
When he helped you up that hill he asked if you were ready for teamwork! Did he want you to help him get his bike up that ledge?

Your exercise is probably more well rounded then mine. All I do is splitting wood manual and bicycling till I feel like im gonna keel over.
Ya, last year i just ran and it wasn't enough. Try the Maasto it will make a big difference.
Zombanator, i dont see you scar on the tree when he went by.... you end up ok?

16:34. I was just waking up from my dirt nap. Ha
I'll check it out.
Clutch release/ drag plus throttle control without stalling practice drills help the hill thing no pro here but they help me just a suggestion.
🤝
Nice job!
🤝
What placed did you officially get?
8th
Me starting my bike at 22:21 in the other lane. Then me again at 25:39 after I gave that tree a big kiss and broke my visor and the gopro fell off
I'll have to watch the footage and see. I don't recall that, hope your ok though.
@Captain250FX right as rain. Just hoping the new brake line comes in, and helmet visor
Captain are you going to vtr father's day race?
Yes, I'll be there.
