- It's been a New York minute, but I'm back after a very long hiatus. Just got this Yeti in the mail and decided to throw something together for you. I hope you'll like it :)
You may notice that the video is not in Binaural/Stereo. I messed up and recorded in Mono. Oops. I'll get that fixed for next time ~ I still think this is pretty nice in Mono, and I hope it still gives you tingles & puts you to sleep.

I actually think mono asmr isnt that bad, its got its charm. Glad to see you back with another upload :).
I actually find the ambience to be quite nice: but if you're nervous about it effecting the quality of your recordings, I know some asmrtists go back and redub their videos if the background sound is particularly bad that day.
You have a nice idea of pacing, and I actually really enjoy your whispering voice too. You have a good hold on using your breath when talking to break things up a bit. And you manage to do slow lo-fi asmr that doesn't actually end up dragging on and on.
Your style of asmr is one that is (devastatingly) hard to find, and harder for people to really appreciate. I hope New York treats you kindly, thank you for the upload.

I also don't mind a little bit of ambience. Obviously, there is a limit - Like, today, my roommate turned on the blender while I was filming, and I will almost certainly cut that out - Haha. But yeah, a lil' bit I think is ok.

Tbh a subtle ambience and white noise makes asmr videos (in my opinion) much more relaxing and natural. As long as it’s nothing intense then it’s perfect.
