great video and amazing sounding plugin! I have been using one for the last two years, i own a 87' made rickenbacker and it the by far best bass i have used, it is like a baby you just love it so much.
I love the way it emulates the “slides”? I’m not a bass player so I’m not sure what the technical name for it is, but it sounds wonderful and looks fun to play
I'm actually more a drummer than a bass player, but I'm sure, the huge majority of bass players wouldn't guess at once that this is not a real one! Amongst the bass players, I consider Chris Squire (R.I.P.) for being the most significant one representing Rickenbacker bass guitars.... Occasionally, I heard him a little bit during this video... Quite impressive!👍🏻
Hey, just wanted to chime in here. Just got myself a Mustang PJ bass, and love it! For me, the short scale is perfect for my smaller fingers. I never feel that I'm losing any low end I'd get with the fuller scale basses I have either. Of course, it's preference at the end of the day, but the lightweight, smaller frets, and overall feeling/sound of the bass is perfect! I highly suggest you go with one if you like the ergonomics of a short scale :) Also, I welcome any more questions surrounding it.
Beautiful. I also have it but I cannot play it as fluent as you. Have you been practicing with it or was it a case of reading the manual and firing it up?
Thanks. I haven't read the manual but I've been practicing with it and testing stuff out. For the most part it's pretty intuitive. One cool thing I didn't know that I realized by accident is that if you use a sustain pedal you can get those slides to happen. Also the mod wheel does vibrato. So combining those elements should lead to a more natural bass sound.
Have you experienced any key clicking sound with the Roland FP-10 by far? I'm thinking about getting one for myself, but I've heard a lot of complaints about the issue, which holds me back... can anyone advise?
🎸
What is that thing on the side of your keyboard that gives the vibrato effect? My keyboard doesnt have one but I want one for dynamics
Hey man, are you still up and running? Miss your content and music.
I realize Im kinda off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new movies online ?
@Aries Nathaniel i use flixzone. You can find it by googling :)
@Izaiah Jericho Yup, been using FlixZone for months myself :D
The most impressive is the slide it makes

Wait how did he do the SLIDE at 1:12 .. sorry I'm a newbie.. can someone tell me?
Certain keys activate certain playing techniques like slides and slaps.
the title did not lie!
I'm soon buying a bass so perfect vid hehe ! I think i'll go for a Mustang PJ :)
Friend of mine has one. Not a huge fan of the mustang as a bass, but it’s a great bass.
Just recently got a deluxe P bass with PJ pickups. The different sounds you can get from them is awesome

that sounds wonderful
The resulting sound of you playing piano runs is actually more akin to the sound of a Chapman stick.
