First time i felt down pretty deep holde and my fighter cought me, I literally gasped. Amazing mechanic.
tip 1 ALWAYS have a Mage (not Sorcerer) in your party. after every battle click 'Help' wait for the happy yellow glow. move on.

My number one tip so far. Put skills on your main pawn. I find so many pawns with no skills equipped
More often then not I realize the pawn with no skills is low rank aka someone was trying to train it in a new class.
I’m saying that for the beginning of the game. Like lv 1-20
I really think us a community need to band together and come up with a simple way to let people know their pawns are infected with dragon plague, like, for instance, send the pawn back with rotten fruit, or meat, or dead flowers to let the person know. Hey, my pawn is infected. That’s what I’ve been doing so far. 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏼
Why not just yeet the pawn in the bryne way better option lol
Why not just yeet the pawns who are infected off a cliff to their deaths or in the water eliminates the plague
@@anthonyhughes4948 as far as I know, that only works for your own personal pawn. Not sure if it will cure other peoples pawns. 🤔🤔
It's crazy seeing just how far you've come since I started watching your destiny 1 Xur and Gunsmith foundry order videos like 7+ years ago.
Nice video 😁 while wondering i noticed some trebuchet's near certain rock formations, so I thought I'd try them out. And low and behold after 2 or 3 shots the rock formation crumbled and either opened a path or cleared some hidden loot.

Sometimes the "to me" command will make pawn bring the knocked pawn to you for an easier res.
Gold beetles increase carry weight , so any size weight can be increase.
I find night time best time to find these as they glow.

So, does he has any knowledge about mice and keyboards etc? I don‘t want to be rude, but it‘s like you asking someone that makes videos about horses, to also make videos about tractors, because both are on a farm yard. You don‘t do that without any effort, to come back to your question: He would have to buy different products for testing and gaining knowledge, that is really expensive and needs a lot more time than a DD2 video, if he would doing it right. Yeah I know, you can also copy videos or information from others, but then, where is the point doing it? With stuff like this, you are better helped by searching by yourself if you want to find the best products that fits you at the moment, because a video from two months ago isn‘t accurate anymore if there are new products released in the meantime. Forums and product reviews are better for that.

As for the testing equipment he'd need for such reviews, I'm sure that, with his contacts in the gaming community, those wouldn't be hard to obtain.

First time using the ox cart somewhere along the way and dozing off, woke up to battle. Unfortunately the cart was destroyed. Couldn't get my 200 coin refund, haha.

I had the Elite Camping kit, got attacked and lost it. I thought i had accidently sold it and so i went back to an old Inn save and lost like 4 hours of progress just to get it back 😅

I saw another YT content creator say that there are framerate issues with DD2. Anybody else experience that?
IIRC, that same cc said that the ability to fast travel is sold as a separate microtransaction. Is that also true?
The performance issues being most mentioned are generally related to large settlements, and are CPU related not GPU. For me It is noticeable but not unplayable, and I can still enjoy playing the game. For reference, I am using a Geforce RTX 3600 which is a fairly current card, and a Skylake i7-6700k 4 core CPU which is several years old at this point.
Fat travel itself is not paywalled, there is fast travel in the game you buy. There are two forms of fast travel in game, Ox-Carts and Ferrystones/port crystals. Both use set points for fast travel, usually between major towns/locations. The Port Crystals work exactly like the first game where the locations you can travel between are set, but can be access anywhere most of the time with consumable ferrystones you can find throughout you playthrough. Ox-Carts are just that, a cart system that you can use to travel. They can travel in real time, but your character can sleep to skip the actual trip. They can sometimes be attacked, but once you defeat the enemies you can continue you ride.
What can be purchased with real money are additional ferrystones, but IMO are unnecessary and only for those with terrible impulse control. The game itself doesn't feel like you are punished for not using them. The world is designed to have something to do when you are traveling. Plus the main draw of Dragon's Dogma is the combat gameplay and exploration, and if you fast traveled between every quest you'd miss a lot of that combat. To my knowledge, you are never propositioned in game about this stuff aside form the title screen. They aren't selling weapons, armor, levels, or experience.
If the CC you we're watching was portraying this as an actual game system being fully pay-gated and needing real money to utilize in-game, that this incorrect misinformation. You can play this game without spending more than asking price, and have a good time. The performance issues do exist, but I personally have not run into anything that keeps me from being able to play.
If you have a semi-modern machine like me, you might experience areas(mostly large settlements) that run lower than 60fps like in the 40s-50s, but that I imagine will be patched in time if not modded sooner. To be clear this isn't a Cyberpunk 2077 launch, but it definitely could have been launched better. But I don't think there is anything that can be smoothed/ironed out in patches.
@@averyharley2197 Thanks for the reply and the info. The cc must've been referring to the option to buy additional ferrystones with cash. Tbh, that is strange, considering that other rpgs that I play don't require me to pay at all for fast travel.
BTW, is it true that DD2 has only 1 save slot? That would be probletamic for me, as I prefer to save before choosing a mission or reply.
@@Noneya5555 Much like the first game, it runs on one character profile. You have a running save that is the most recent auto-save or manual save, and a separate save for when you sleep in a bed or inn. It can come as a shock, but I can say that is is a consistent design choice and not an oversight. This coming from someone who can have hundreds of saves after a standard RPG run. While it doesn't bother me here, and it's even grown on me honestly(it's liberating in a way knowing that what's done is done), there is usually usually enough time to quit to the title screen and reload. And honestly, you can probably tell if something important is going to happen in a quest, so just rest at an in as an emergency backup beforehand.
Again in regards to the Fast travel, while it is a bit weird to sell to sell the consumable, the actual ferrystones in-game can be bought from major settlement vendors 3-5 at a time. And said vendors reset after several days, which can be done by resting several times in a row. There are somewhat expensive, but no more than the a good sword or armor. Again, they are convince items as is fast travel, and the game is designed around traveling so you can gain level experience and vocation experience through fights and quests you encounter.

@@patrickirby3059 I have to agree with them. I watched this video and every single thing he talked about was told to you by the game. Including the game teaching you to throw rocks at things to break open passages. even if you ignore the popups more often then not one of the pawns yells over and over "there is something over there" or "Do you think we can move that rock" "Ser, I think that wall is breakable" and my most hated "There is a ladder, I wonder if it'll take us someplace interesting"

Put camping supplies in chest when at an inn. When you get to a camp site it uses it from there, saves carrying it.
EDIT: Don't try this i didn't realise my pawn had one and system uses that. I knew i had stowed my one.

Swear it just tells me I need a camp set and I’ve done that crap by accident a couple times
25 tips i wish i knew at level 1.
1. a £500 cpu and an rtx 4090 isnt powerful enough to run the game at over 60fps in certain cities
2. it will freeze/crash on you every 30 to 60 minutes
3. we put the files needed for frame generation into the install file but didnt bother activating it for use it game
4. we said the reason it doesnt have proper fast travel is because of gameplay reasons, but really its so we could sell you micro transactions
5. were the only triple A game that has managed to make dlss so blury even on the quality setting fsr actually looks better
6. its our amazing ai and complex npc shedules that make it hard to run in citys........ no one bring up skyrim
7. npcs pop in and out of existance as you run around town on max settings.... for gameplay reasons
8. when npc's die we made them stay died unless you wake them for gameplay reasons, but really its so we could sell you micro transactions
9. starting a new game is locked behind micro transations
10. changing the apperance of your character is locked behind micro transactions
oh i could go on. i know theres a good game somewhere in there, but im not supporting the greedy anti consumer crap and i certainly dont support a game thats had such little effort to be optimised that it brings a 7800x3d and 4090 to its knees.
literally all the things you can buy as MTX are buyable in the game, nothing is locked behind real money
People just love to have something to complain about. This game was meant to be played. The one's complaining are the ones that want standard fast travel or mounts. They don't wanna spend hours walking and exploring. They are casual gamers. Who mainly play games that cater to convience with standard features that are usually free. In this game you have to actually play it to get those convenient items. The casual gamer wouldn't know this because they so use to playing casual hold your hand type of games.
Casual gamers aren't bad they just aren't true gamers. These are the people who enjoy a few hours of games a week or month. They aren't the hardcore gamers that would plan a day for just gaming or grinding. Most people are casual gamers. That's why they'll complain about optional micro-transactions in a game that's actually fun to play and earn the stuff free.
