Need a main man in charge strong minded not afraid of making decisions is there too many on the board making decisions because every decision made on anything seems to be dragged out these past few years never know rangers to be run like this

Alan Burrows. I feel we don't need someone who personally knows the agents of Haaland/Mbappe or has contacts at Real Madrid. Rather an experienced - yet refreshing - operator of good standing within our game in Scotland.

For me Adrian Bevington has the credentials and experience we should be going for. Lots of good contacts in the game as well that could help us.

As I have said before the current board is a boys club they do not want someone coming in and asking the difficult questions, like what do you bring to the table other than nepotism

Why don’t they bring in Dave King for the chairman role ?

This what we have to look forward to during a season of failure? How exciting.

You can trace back all these bad business decisions to dave king. He personally signed off all the bad decisions in the past few years

No he didn’t , Dave King was chairman when we won 55 , he is the guy who brought in Gerrard , Douglas park as chairman didn’t back Gerrard after 55 , he didn’t back Gio after Seville , under Park all the directors took their money out in one fell swoop from the Europa run, Sale of Bassey and Patterson

Not relevant. Dave King as major shareholder signed off on ALL the major business decisions in the past few years. All of them.

@@jimfyfe4015If they took their money, then why are we in £10.5 million debt? We had a great run and those player sales should have gave us a cushion. How did we come to be in this debt with that being the case? We should be getting these answers.

They have all F'd up as a collective board on different levels. For much of our time back in the top flight. Dave King appointed Mark Allen. He was pretty useless with regards quite a few of our signings. Almost as bad as Ross Wilson. The medical and scouting department has never been great under this board. Obviously the jury is still out on the current new scouting team etc, but for much of our time back in the top flight, appointments at different levels have been sub par. We had a couple of successes and luck fell our way a bit and that papered over massive cracks. Giving the board room to hide.
So the King narrative is Park never backed Gerrard after 55. I agree, and so do most fans. However we are currently in a £10.5 million blackhole as stated by John Bennet, who of course I hope gets well soon.
With that said and keep that debt in mind, I want to know why we are in debt after that Euro run and players sales, where that money went from that, and how exactly did King expect Gerrard to be backed with more finance if we didn't have money available? That debt we have today surely would have been bigger than it is, had King gotten his way? Is Park the enemy here or was he being finacially responsible as a custodian of the club at that time?
There are quite a few financial quantities to the current siutation that are unclear. As fans we can understand the player trading model hasn't paid off the way they hoped.
What I want to know is we are a club with a massive support, TV revenues, merchandise, sponsorship, euro money. Why, when we returned to the top flight did this board start propping the club up with loans stretched over periods with interest? Surely had we built within our means we would have been self sustainable? Smaller clubs in the top flight with smaller supports than ours are doing it.
I know I made quite a few points and sorry about the length, but I feel there are real questions about our financial predicament and how we got there not being answered. After 2012 and what everyone went through, we deserve some answers and I feel it is on all the board that we are in debt and our new managers hands are tied and none of it is fair, and I believe it is their doing. Their poor choices are the ones that have lead us here. So with that in mind, why should all our fans trust them and what is their vision and plan to fix it? Do they accept if they don't start making it better that they will be pressured to sell their shares to others with more capability? It is not unfair if they can't run a tight ship and be responsible with the club, it is not unfair if they can't build steady and smart growth or bring in quality investment into the team that we ask for better.
