@@Emily-Whitfield Because in the 70s as a child I used to watch Benny Hill, The 2 Ronnies, Open all hours, then later Father Ted. I always remembered trying to watch Tommy & also remembered I never found him 1 bit funny - so I tried again. Still a big no, & many others agree on other posts - the guys a complete charlatan, 110% predictable - you always know exactly what hes going to do. Many rave about what supposedly makes him terrific is his timing - though his timing may be good, that alone does not make a person funny. There is a lack of essence - The other British comedians I forementioned blow him right out of the water.
