I love how bubbly you come across on this book review and make me want to have your energy! The bad news is that I need to have someone like you in my life to kick my butt and get me started. I would tell you my story, but it is too depressing to tell someone as energetic as you. I have the first book with Anne you held up, but my grocery list of problems, would either bore you to tears, or put you to sleep. I’ll be 64 in a couple weeks, and have all but given up. I was wondering how to get motivated and start moving towards my own cure? I don’t know if you can or would be willing to help me somehow.
Here is where you can hit delete. This is my story as best as I can remember it in a condensed version.
Diagnosed in 1994 and keeps getting a little worse each year.
I am divorced for about 11 yrs and still get along with ex.
She has diabetes and cannot help me much anymore.
    Living in my own apartment.
    Stuck in a 6 wheeler.
In summer and non rainy days I can use recently installed sidewalk.
    On disability income retired.
Help from eldest daughter when she can help.
    She is pharmacist at hospital.
The younger one is a therapist an hour away.
Both of my daughters are married with one year olds.
I get most food from Meals on Wheels.
I get by barely with eldest help.
Have a new ride service for doctor visits.
MS symptoms include leg spasms 30 seconds apart for an hour in one leg, then same in other.
I have a baclofen pump in my stomach and still take pills when it gets bad.
    Right eye blurry.
Can lift my rear up off chair till arthritis makes it to pain full.
Can get dressed rolling on bed to pull up briefs and sweat pants.
Can take shower in chair in tub once a week for the time being.
Can still do shoes and socks.
Started a new non-fun activity of getting UTIs every 6 months to a year.
Had a heart attach in therapy (woke up 4-5 days later in hospital).
More stuff than that, but Swiss cheese brain won’t always let me remember it all.
    Thank you for reading.
    Mike Inkrott. :)

Dear Mike, thank you for your message! Seems like you've had quite a challenging ride thus far and if I were you, I'd be talking to God non-stop! Turn your mind into a radio tuning into a divine station, read (or listen to) Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl, find gratitude in any damn thing and focus there! (A bird singing a beautiful song? Sunlight peeking through the window?) Choose life on earth and talk to God unceasingly is my best offer of help for you now! Please take good care, Kara
