Naval Group Delivers A.R.A. Contraalmirante Cordero to the Argentine Navy

- The last of the four Argentinian offshore patrol vessel (OPV), OPV 87 A.R.A. Contraalmirante Cordero, was delivered on 13 April 2022 to the Argentine Navy (Armada de la República Argentina).

Naval News interviewed the Commanding Officer, Commander Nicolas Leonardo Salinas and the two program managers at Naval Group. The ceremony took place in Concarneau.
The A.R.A. Contraalmirante Cordero is the last vessel of the series and its delivery marks the success of a program that has met all its deadlines: the A.R.A. Bouchard (ex-L’Adroit) was delivered in December 2019 two months ahead of schedule, and the second and third offshore patrol vessels A.R.A Piedrabuena and A.R.A Storni were delivered in April and October 2021, in line with the original schedule.
The Offshore Patrol Vessel is able to stay on high seas during more than three weeks, to reach a speed of 20 knots and to accommodate a helicopter. Implemented by a reduced crew of 40 members, it is also able to accommodate about twenty extra passengers.
Length: 87 meters
Beam: 14 meters
Displacement: 1,650 tons
Max. speed: over 20 knots
Accommodation: 59 (crew and passengers)
Endurance: More than 7,000 nautical miles
Boarding capacity: two light crafts of 9 meters and one 10-ton class helicopter

Argentina tiene mucho gasto al pedo,puede tener cualquier sistema de armas llámese submarinos scorpene,corbetas y aviones de combate tipo Rafale,solamente tiene que ordenar sus pioridades.
La series de barcos bouchard podria ser bastante facil en corbetas De Guerra de superficie

Pensé lo mismo. Su inglés anda flojo de papeles. A ver si la escuela de oficiales hace un esfuerzo a ese nivel.
Cuenta pendiente en las fuerzas armadas entre tantas . Procurar que todos los oficiales sepan ingles bilingue .
No solo los oficiales que no son tantos, los Suboficiales también y pagarles por esa capacitación
Deberían tener una formación constante durante todos los años en la escuela naval, pero además mandarlos de intercambio fuera.

Naval Group is a european company. Ph is finding much cheaper supplier.. Naval News will just offer the ship. Compare to Hyundai they know how to domate 1+1 per ordered ship.

Amigo, afloje con la damajuana. Naval Group es el astillero de referencia de la marina francesa, actualmente tiene problemas de espacio para hacer frente a todos los navíos que tiene en construcción, y usted cree que 4 OPV de mierda los salvo de la quiebra? Jajaja Buenísimo

@@arielanibalpastura8137 Russia struggles to conquer ukraine, i doubt they would be useful to take falklands from UK, considering UK has 2 super carriers and Russia has none. On top of that, the only reason Argentine was able to fight UK was because France was selling them their missiles.
L'Argentine a 100 ans pour réclamer leur souveraineté. Ils n'ont rien à conquérir. Pour l'instant ils ont besoin des OPV pour contraindre la flotte de pêche chinoise (+200 navires) qui utilisent les Malouines comme FOB pour piller +1 milliard d'euros par an en droits de pêche.
Haha...I would love to see them try. The "Falklands" belong to its people. End of story.
