Be ready for them 93 point turns. Always my favorite part. Something I’d recommend that I should have also done is a power steering cooler, I’d typically lose power steering by the end of the second trail.
That’s what I’m talkn about. Can’t wait for you to start running it and reporting it’s performance and capabilities. Maybe there is a trail that the IFS struggled on and you return with SAS and compare the results. FN Awesome
Do they have a high pinion toyota front? I do plan to do rcv axles eventually. Next thing I need is drivelines that will allow me to fully flex out the suspension.
That escalated quickly! I’m in Boise. Where are you? Looks like PNW. We have decent trails in Murphy and I snow wheel around Bogus and McCall. Mostly in the spring time
All my brackets were made by the guy who I helped with the suspension. I did do a video about so.e of the stuff I purchased but most things he fabricated for the Geo Tracker
It cost me 2k for the toyota axles that were already geared at 5.29 and then I got to work with the fabricator and help get everything set up. This kept the cost down. The total bill was for about 80hrs. All said and done it was about 5k to get the axles and have them installed.
I would love to have one of these just like this for me to cruise around in and have fun with..
It is so much fun.

I hope my electric fan will help.with that but definitely something to look at during the shake down run.
Good stuff man. Glad to see you got it back! I need to get back to mine.
That is a sweet upgrade. Can’t wait to see your first video of it on the Trail.

Definitely more willing to play in the rocks with the straight axle. Gonna run some familiar trails next weekend to get a feel for the difference
That's wild! Congratulations on getting her rolling again!
Thanks. Gonna go to browns camp with us on the 30th?
Awesome job
Thanks
Dude this is awesome!!!!
Thanks. I can't wait to get it on the trail.
I recommend high pinnion front 3rd, rcv axles, selectable locker, power steering cooler( mine gets hot). Folding mirrors are good to have.

Yes high pinnion front also puts the load onnthe correct side of the gear! Much stronger
I think I heard they came out of like a land cruiser or something just guessing but like an 80 series?
I also have a geo tracker that's been solid axle swapped and yours looks pretty similar to mine in the way there built.
How do you like yours? I am really happy with what I did to mine.
Incredible!
Putting in work I see.
Always working on something.

I'm about 30 miles west of Portland. I would like to wheel in Idaho some day. Boise is about 9 hours from me.
Do you still have the IFS and rear spooled 5:12 third members? If so will you sell them?
I do not. Traded the 3rd away for some other parts and the axles and brakes went on a different tracker.
How does it ride in high with the 5.29s of the toyota? And have you taken it on the road or mainly just a trail rig?
Did a short zip down the road and it seems like it has more power. Gonna do a shake down run soon and see how it compares on some trails I run often.
A Suzuki big foot ! But front driveshaft angle whith the body seems dangerously strange !
It could still use some adjustments. Gonna take it out soon and see how it flexes. Eventually gonna do custom drivelines
I wonder if you can put yota axles in a second gen
I have seen pictures on the internet but never in person
Could you post a link where you got the brackets for everything?
All my brackets were made by the guy who I helped with the suspension. I did do a video about so.e of the stuff I purchased but most things he fabricated for the Geo Tracker
pretty cool!
What year yota axles and springs are u using?
The axles are from an 85 toyota and the springs are jeep YJ springs
how much did this run you? I have been wanting to do the same to my tracker!
