I hope this gets read, I listened to this song when it first came out for a year. Clearly being depressed it kinda helped during the time. older cartoons elicit a more nostalgic feeling when done correctly in these vaporwave edits. the editing is very nice and well done i'm not taking away from that however newer cartoons just don't have enough material to tell a story that fits with the vaporwave aesthetic.
Sorry, what I meant to say was: I rly liked it and I rly don't care about the age of the cartoon. I understand your point, don't get triggered or any bad feelings because of my way of saying things but I rly don't care if Vaporwave is all about the old nostalgic feeling and the aesthitics and the story to tell. If that makes me like one of those shitty vaporwave fans, the one's who listen to this without the real meaning of it then I guess I can live with that title. I guess I just wrote this because I see no real reason to further explain your point.
there's no such thing as a 'shitty vaporwave fan' and i was just explaining my opinion why older cartoons seem to mesh a little better with the aesthetic. however there's no right or wrong way to make art. beauty is in the eye of the beholder my guy
