Those thoughts do not naturally occur in our heads. If you never had the idea, it would never become an thought in your head. I hope for nothing but blessings for you and your family. Like he said, if you've never been in that situation, don't act like you know the feeling. Ppl love to say how weak someone was for committing suicide, but couldn't imagine taking their own lives so who's to say what's brave or cowardly. The real problem is that it's preventable and shouldn't be left solely up to one who's hopeless to resolve on their own. You could say that no one's to blame or everyone's to blame and be right either way, so don't leave your love ones in the dark if you ever wanna see them again.
