Absolutely loving the restoration from a 3 series to a 7 series. Also, I didn't know e30's were produced in the 70's. I honestly thought they were launched in 82. You learn something new everyday I guess.
Not even the E23 would be 50 years old, since they were produced from 1977 onwards. Also, in the case of the E30, first production year was 1982 or 1983 i guess.
Piston had carbs, did not replace o rings, heck he used the same old spacer for pistons on the crankshaft. They look really worn. What load of bull crap 🤣🤣🤣
Just made every western restorer scream. The whole process just wrong. Even silver paint in the distributor and carburetor. Must have been a pig getting that engine running.
The abandoned car is an E30, which started production in 1982. I was born in 1983, and I'm not even 40 years old. But amazing job though. The finished product came out great. It even went up 2 size classes to E32 7 series. That's what I call transformation!

He was painting that door black,interestingly the only panel we see repaired (who paints a door with the handle,barrel and window trim still in it anyway?)but miraculously the car shown at the end looked like cobalt blue grey and was infact an E32 7 series😂😂,and lastly that engine being painted up is not a BMW unit at all,it looks remarkably like an early 4Y engine from a Toyota Hiace, someone has to say it,FAKE BULLSHIT!
Despite the fact, he turned a 3 series into a 7 series, this car can never be 50 years old. The e30 started in 1982 and this one has the head lamps from the 1987 facelift. But nice to see, he refurbished (🤔did he finalise it🤔) this car most others would have scrapped 👍🏼
Yes or at least tryed... Rebuilding the engine without using a torque wrench... Doomed to fail with leaks at all places. I dont think hè finished this project

Wow! I tried to follow along, but only managed to upgrade my E46 3 series to an E39 5 series, but my end goal is to make it into an E38 7 series! And of course it's going to be powered by the mighty Toyota 22R!
probably because it was almost never driven. These restoration videos here are fake. They ussually film a good looking outside car. Then they take a model in bad condition grind on all the surfaces let it stand in the rain for a few weeks. then it looks like the car in the beginning and they have content. The steps in between they use to part it out. It´s a shame what they are doing and most people don´t realise it. Also the car at the end was a 7 series. The car in the beginning a 3 series.
Me cautivó el titulo del BMW de 50 años siendo un E30, que aunque fuese el primer E30 matriculado, cumpliría 40 años en 2022... y el video es brutal de principio a fin vamos... empezando por el E30 cubierto de oxido como salido de un incendio (seguramente porque lo rociaron con decapante un par de semanas antes) comencé a dudar de las habilidades del genio cuando vi que cortaba el cableado con una navaja para sacar las puertas 👍 y comprendí de qué iba realmente el video al ver como enmasillaban la puerta como para sacar un molde de escayola, la pintura a chorretones, abren el motor y lo montan de nuevo sin limpiar, volviendo a poner las juntas usadas (sobretodo la de culata) 😬, el carter golpeado por todos lados van y lo pintan (que aun sirve jaja) y culminamos con la breve visualización del espectacular resultado que no es un E30 jajaj
Bueno y especial mención al montar la culata e internals sin ver una dinamométrica ni un galgado xD Si enciende ese motor sale un pistón a pasear al dar gas 🤣
супер круто!! Ничего подобного в жизни не видал, особенно когда ржавые болты закручивают на свежеокрашеный задний диффер!! Поразило качество покраски, судя по отражению на капоте это лучше заводского покраса. Особенно впечатлило некоторая доработка элементов кузова и интерьера, у них получилось круче чем у ветеранов концерна Калашникова: собирали стиральную машинку Малыш, а получился АК-74.
Лучшего контента просто не видел. как они двигатель перебирают. Мотористы завидуют стоя с раскрытым ртом. Когда мажет герметик особенно глаз радует. Горе ютуберы.
Ещё мне очень нравится что крестовину нахуй не нужно перебирать на кардане, так же что, болты откручиваются если забрызгать их вд40 не на резьбу а на сами шлицы болта, так же понравилось что в бензине отмачивают подвесные резинки. Такое чувство что это перекупы😂

Przepis na sukces. Weź jakiegoś trupa, zdrap farbę, trochę czasu soli i wody. Jak będzie wyglądać na dostatecznie zniszczony musisz pochodzić dookoła ruszając losowe elementy jakbyś się na tym znał. Coś tam porozbieraj. Coś pomaluj jakimś sprejem np. z 2 elementy na odpierdol. Weź losowe części (nie muszą być od tego samochodu) i poskręcaj. Nie przejmuj się niczym musi jedynie jakoś to wyglądać (spray!) i trzeba dać trochę silikonu (najtańszy sanitarny) żeby wyglądało PRO. Na koniec pokaż inny samochód (nie musi być ten sam model nawet) i ogłoś sukces. Gotowe. Lajki i wyświetlenia zapierdalają.
Финальный вариант, просто поразил. Начать с Е30 BMW 3 серии Покрасить пару элементов, разобрать агрегаты, не факт что собрать. А по итогу, получить Е32 BMW 7 серии. Ну да.... Охотно верю!!!! Вне всякого сомнения, забивание подшипника молотком, это высшее мастерство. Короче херня, и для человека что в теме, даже не вызывает эстетического удовольствия ,наблюдая за "работой".
Сразу бросилось в глаза кузов по науке ржавый в нутри как гаражное хранение, в багажнике инструмент не ржавый, обшивки хоть и зачуханые но видно что влаги долголетия не видели как и в целом салон , ставлю сотню что ржа по науке искуствннная и для полноты картины битые стекла, после увиденного 5 килагромового слоя Шпакли во всю площадь двери видео выключил и забил 😂
Хорошая реставрация даже поддон картера не выровняли, поршня какие сняли такие и поставили, даже нагар не счистили, интересно клапана будут притирать. Я так понимаю в стране проблема с прокладками, все держится на герметике и краски. Good restoration, even the oil pan was not leveled, the pistons were removed and installed, they were not even cleaned off the carbon deposits, it would be interesting to grind the valves. As I understand it, there is a problem with gaskets in the country, everything rests on sealant and paint

Меня смутило несколько моментов, разбор на улице, разрез дверной проводки лезвием, установка старых колец тупо руками, покраска внутрянки трамблера, не выравненные поддон, кривая сетка масляного насоса.
Very funny movie, from the first second I couldn't stop smiling (this rust looks so strange) but when I saw the process of assembling the engine I literally thought I would burst out laughing. Old cylinder head gasket and that joint sealant, what was that? Colgate? I haven't laughed so much for a long time. In general, the conclusion is that someone abandoned the car because he ran out of paint on the engine and gearbox. Love your sense of humor.
As soon as I saw him cutting the wiring harness, ripping out the rubber and stripping off all the trim, I said "This is not going to end well, hope he has a brand new donor car"

And the very visible dirt contamination on the bearing journals when he used his dirty fingers to rub the oil on them. And setting the bearings on loose and not set in the caps. Also if your real quick, you notice the missing inner gear in the oil pump when he puts it back together.
You could already tell he was off in the very first minutes after seeing him check the indicators and horn from a car that has been in a field for several years
In South America/Middle East/Africa this is a job well done. They don't have the same money and access to parts that we do and take for granted. I think this is some incredible talent in and of itself.

Did anyone see a torque wrench used to reassemble the engine? it blows my mind that they go through the trouble of tearing down an engine JUST TO "CLEAN" IT and paint in some cases what was never painted in the factory.
Gives the word restoration a new meaning. Wonder what happened to the 3 series??? Although I'm a little bit impressed what they can achieve with the resources available.
Let's not forget that the biggest payouts in the markets don't come from great performances but rather it's great promotions. Stay invested, diversification for streams of incomes is very important And with the right skills and proper understanding of how the market works.

It's not even fourty... And most of visible damage was made intentionally. Rusty cars doesn't look like that. Funny fact is that even plastic parts are rusted and places mostly subjected by rust are in good condition.
I guess he just bought a 7 series because the 3 series most definitely started knocking right after he reused torque to yield bolts and also no torque wrench. Or was it the blown diff? Or the lack of a wiring harness? Or because all the interior he ripped out cost more to replace than just buying that 7 series?
The initial tear down was definitely not the way to do it if you had rebuild in mind. I saw no evidence of any attention being paid to the timing marks or the carb rebuild, I would definitely not be buying a car off this guy especially as the car changed if by a miracle from a 3 to a 7 series
yeah and he replaced all of the gaskets by something I can only imagine to be toothpaste. doesn't matter anyway, there were definitely bigger problems than oil leaks
OK so they started with a rusty 3 series and after the restoration it bacame a 7 series. Maybe if they wax it and detail it then it will become an 8 series...
I could tell right from the beginning that theres no way they're gonna restore that, by the way he was taking it apart. When they got to the transmission, the way he just painted over bearing surfaces, cut open the rubber on a perfectly fine bearing and put grease in it, painted gasket surfaces and didnt get the paint off, didnt put a gasket between the pieces either.. then theres the engine, minimal amounts of assembly oil on the pistons, crank, valves etc.. reused the old rings, didnt time the engine when he put the timing gear on, painted the distributor with the cap off, got paint all over the rotor and all.. as irritating it was, I kept watching 🤣
you don´t have to add years to the car it´s old but not from 1972 but from mid 80´s or close, no matter what ,it´s a great video , i´ve been watching some of your videos ,we used to do crazy things to cars we assembled in junkyards ,today a lot more rules so it needs to be perfect

Yes because after having totally destroyed whata was left of that e30 they would need 1000 hours and 10000 buck to rebuild it. I had two e30 that i sold for less than a 1000 bucks and they were brand new compared to the pile of crap he found!! Oh i just noticed that the engine is not a BMW it's a Toyota 3y from what i've seen, so it's a BMToy!! That's ridiculous, thoses guys just dissamble whatever parts, clean them put paint on them and make a total fake video !!
não é nem o mesmo carro no final kkkkkkk, o cara é tão bom que transformou um série 3 em um série 7. além da pintura ser completamente diferente, ele pintou por cima de todos os pontos de contato, não colocou junta nova em nada, apertou todos os parafusos do motor sem torquímetro. basicamente desmontou, pintou as coisas e colocou de volta errado. ainda não é nem o mesmo carro no final, o do começo provavelmente foi só sucateado mesmo

My favourite is that when he was washing the HDD with water and drying the cylinders with heat gun or hair dryer. :))) I think all the purpose of this videos is just get as much viewers as possible and YT will pay! :))

Me cautivó el titulo del BMW de 50 años siendo un E30, que aunque fuese el primer E30 matriculado, cumpliría 40 años en 2022... y el video es brutal de principio a fin vamos... empezando por el E30 cubierto de oxido como salido de un incendio (seguramente porque lo rociaron con decapante un par de semanas antes) comencé a dudar de las habilidades del genio cuando vi que cortaba el cableado con una navaja para sacar las puertas 👍 y comprendí de qué iba realmente el video al ver como enmasillaban la puerta como para sacar un molde de escayola, la pintura a chorretones, abren el motor y lo montan de nuevo sin limpiar, volviendo a poner las juntas usadas (sobretodo la de culata) 😬, el carter golpeado por todos lados van y lo pintan (que aun sirve jaja) y culminamos con la breve visualización del espectacular resultado que no es un E30 jajaj
Sin mencionar que lo pinta con la cerradura puesta y la manija de la puerta en negro que luego cambia de tonalidad en el modelo final...

супер круто!! Ничего подобного в жизни не видал, особенно когда ржавые болты закручивают на свежеокрашеный задний диффер!! Поразило качество покраски, судя по отражению на капоте это лучше заводского покраса. Особенно впечатлило некоторая доработка элементов кузова и интерьера, у них получилось круче чем у ветеранов концерна Калашникова: собирали стиральную машинку Малыш, а получился АК-74.
Лучшего контента просто не видел. как они двигатель перебирают. Мотористы завидуют стоя с раскрытым ртом.
Когда мажет герметик особенно глаз радует. Горе ютуберы.
Ещё мне очень нравится что крестовину нахуй не нужно перебирать на кардане, так же что, болты откручиваются если забрызгать их вд40 не на резьбу а на сами шлицы болта, так же понравилось что в бензине отмачивают подвесные резинки. Такое чувство что это перекупы😂
Ебат он кардан прихуярил к редуктору обычными болтами из сыромятины, что будет дальше

Przepis na sukces. Weź jakiegoś trupa, zdrap farbę, trochę czasu soli i wody. Jak będzie wyglądać na dostatecznie zniszczony musisz pochodzić dookoła ruszając losowe elementy jakbyś się na tym znał. Coś tam porozbieraj. Coś pomaluj jakimś sprejem np. z 2 elementy na odpierdol. Weź losowe części (nie muszą być od tego samochodu) i poskręcaj. Nie przejmuj się niczym musi jedynie jakoś to wyglądać (spray!) i trzeba dać trochę silikonu (najtańszy sanitarny) żeby wyglądało PRO. Na koniec pokaż inny samochód (nie musi być ten sam model nawet) i ogłoś sukces. Gotowe. Lajki i wyświetlenia zapierdalają.
Tak wyglądają wszystkie chińskie filmy z "odrestaurowywania" starych rzeczy. Laptopy, motocykle, samochody...

Сразу бросилось в глаза кузов по науке ржавый в нутри как гаражное хранение, в багажнике инструмент не ржавый, обшивки хоть и зачуханые но видно что влаги долголетия не видели как и в целом салон , ставлю сотню что ржа по науке искуствннная и для полноты картины битые стекла, после увиденного 5 килагромового слоя Шпакли во всю площадь двери видео выключил и забил 😂
Хорошая реставрация даже поддон картера не выровняли, поршня какие сняли такие и поставили, даже нагар не счистили, интересно клапана будут притирать. Я так понимаю в стране проблема с прокладками, все держится на герметике и краски. @@stanislaff3511 Потому и не стали кузов целиков красить. Покрасили по минимуму деталей и возможно кузовные детали были с другого авто. Меня смутило несколько моментов, разбор на улице, разрез дверной проводки лезвием, установка старых колец тупо руками, покраска внутрянки трамблера, не выравненные поддон, кривая сетка масляного насоса.
Меня смутила новая запаска в багажнике, странно что варвары ее не украли)
А ещё в закрытом подшипнике вместе с новой смазкой осталась не только старая, но ещё и кольцевая прокладка в смятом виде.
масляный фильтр тоже старый оставили, только покрасили 🤣
Very funny movie, from the first second I couldn't stop smiling (this rust looks so strange) but when I saw the process of assembling the engine I literally thought I would burst out laughing. Old cylinder head gasket and that joint sealant, what was that? Colgate? I haven't laughed so much for a long time. In general, the conclusion is that someone abandoned the car because he ran out of paint on the engine and gearbox. Love your sense of humor.

The part where he "restored" engine was most painfull. Especially the head gasket part, not to mention piston rings....
And the very visible dirt contamination on the bearing journals when he used his dirty fingers to rub the oil on them. And setting the bearings on loose and not set in the caps. Also if your real quick, you notice the missing inner gear in the oil pump when he puts it back together.

Did anyone see a torque wrench used to reassemble the engine? it blows my mind that they go through the trouble of tearing down an engine JUST TO "CLEAN" IT and paint in some cases what was never painted in the factory.

В инструкции же ясно написано, после зборки изделие тщательно обработать напильником....

I guess he just bought a 7 series because the 3 series most definitely started knocking right after he reused torque to yield bolts and also no torque wrench. Or was it the blown diff? Or the lack of a wiring harness? Or because all the interior he ripped out cost more to replace than just buying that 7 series?

The initial tear down was definitely not the way to do it if you had rebuild in mind. I saw no evidence of any attention being paid to the timing marks or the carb rebuild, I would definitely not be buying a car off this guy especially as the car changed if by a miracle from a 3 to a 7 series

I could tell right from the beginning that theres no way they're gonna restore that, by the way he was taking it apart. When they got to the transmission, the way he just painted over bearing surfaces, cut open the rubber on a perfectly fine bearing and put grease in it, painted gasket surfaces and didnt get the paint off, didnt put a gasket between the pieces either.. then theres the engine, minimal amounts of assembly oil on the pistons, crank, valves etc.. reused the old rings, didnt time the engine when he put the timing gear on, painted the distributor with the cap off, got paint all over the rotor and all.. as irritating it was, I kept watching 🤣

Машина всё таки поехала, в утиль.
и помятый поддон так и установил обратно! а потом заебались восстанавливать в конце засняли просто семерку другую , зеленого цвета и видос готов)

you don´t have to add years to the car it´s old but not from 1972 but from mid 80´s or close, no matter what ,it´s a great video , i´ve been watching some of your videos ,we used to do crazy things to cars we assembled in junkyards ,today a lot more rules so it needs to be perfect

Empaque de culata quemada, tornillos sin torquear, pistones y anillos viejos, retenedores viejos, casquetes de bancada y de bielas en malas condiciones, jajajaj como metieron los pistones con esos anillos todos aguados, en fin mucho tiempo desperdiciado para hacer un vídeo tan falso

Muchas cosas fantásticas en este video. Uno, en qué sitio se puede encontrar un carro abandonado con todos sus accesorios completos?. Dos, el video está tan editado que no se muestran restauraciones claves de latoneria, cableado eléctrico, aire acondicionado, frenos entre otros. Tercero, los costos-beneficios compensan esta dura tarea?. No creo.

Yes because after having totally destroyed whata was left of that e30 they would need 1000 hours and 10000 buck to rebuild it. I had two e30 that i sold for less than a 1000 bucks and they were brand new compared to the pile of crap he found!!

não é nem o mesmo carro no final kkkkkkk, o cara é tão bom que transformou um série 3 em um série 7. além da pintura ser completamente diferente, ele pintou por cima de todos os pontos de contato, não colocou junta nova em nada, apertou todos os parafusos do motor sem torquímetro. basicamente desmontou, pintou as coisas e colocou de volta errado. ainda não é nem o mesmo carro no final, o do começo provavelmente foi só sucateado mesmo

It is very strange, that everything he has found for restoration has got the same color of rust. :) Motorbike, BMW, Computer, nintendo, PSP, Playstation. Almost everything. My favourite is that when he was washing the HDD with water and drying the cylinders with heat gun or hair dryer. :)))
