It's a good quality video. But where is your source about Turmell seeing Primal Rage as an inspiration? The reason I ask is because it got released the earliest in 94. There's no evidence any form of playable demo was around or developed as early as 92....
NBA Jam & TE in the arcade was so awesome to play in its hayday, TE & Hang Time on SNES were good games, TE on Sega CD was a near arcade-perfect port. Never played any after Hang Time though.
I know Acclaim literally botched the attributes in NBA Jam Extreme they didn't even have the motion capture of players with good dribbling capabilities in the game with the dribbling attribute but one of the biggest issues was the size of the ball was too small when no one had possession of it, it would only changes size depending on the size of what play had possession of it
what do you mean when you say Lassen tricked the Midway higher ups with this verbal agreement. like he tricked them into signing over the rights? or was he just able to give them away without checking with midway first.
that was a low blow on Acclaim's part. i get the feeling that Greg Fishbach was lying just to save his company's ass. and the way they handled the series is a reflection of their track record: while not everything they did was crap (Shadow Man and the Turok games on the N64 were pretty good), a lot of the stuff they did that were not Midway conversions was.
There was a mistake with sourcing in one particular part of this video that needed to be properly corrected. Thankfully, we were able to work that out with the author behind NBA Jam (the book,) and now have the finished version up. Sorry about that!!!
Midway might still be around if they still had NBA Jam
I say if they had mortal kombat. Arcade type games lost they fizz
I just discovered your channel and really enjoyed it

America needs more competition of video games again

This is similar to What The Weinsteins did to The Wayans with Scary Movie
TH-cam, you have to be kidding me. This video is worth way more than 237 views
Similar to how Akklaim published the sequel to WWF WrestleMania (wwf in your house?)
