b.i wasn't kicked out. he left iKON. when he was accused of doing drugs back in 2019 at the peak of his and iKON's career. yg didn't stand up for him and they quickly ended his contract. when yg protected other idols from bigger accusations. anyways he was discharged first and last year, as a final sentence, he got 4 years probation.
he has been doing amazing since his comeback last year 2021. he released a donation project with 3 tracks. then waterfall a whole freaking amazing album 10 tracks. then he released cosmos 7 tracks. and now he's back whith part 1 of love or loved with 5 tracks!!!!.
he's so hardworking. he was THEE LEADER PRODUCER MAIN RAPPER VOCALIST AND CHOREOGRAPHER of iKON. he produced for BLACKPINK TREASURE WINNER LEE HI and more. he definitely deserves more support and recognition. please support b.i and his journey. he's a proof that WHAT DOESN'T KILL YOU MAKES YOU STRONGER.

Correction the drug case is from 2016 that's come surface after dispatch & the drug dealer disclose it.. so yes he had to leave the group in a span of just 4 hours after the news.. after struggling for years to debut & bring his group to success they just let him left just like that which is ridiculous.. then he went on hiatus for 2 years..
Also Waterfall had 12 tracks with Illa illa as the title track & Cosmos had 6 tracks with Cosmos as title track & Buddy buddy as bonus track for his fans..

Yes...if you know anything about the idol industry...you don't have NO CHOICE. Yes in the press it said he chose to leave....but they have a freaking contract. No idol can leave just because they want to. He was probably told by YG...you messed up, with the whole Seungri thing we can't protect you. You f'd up you know what you need to do. We are going to say you left.....YG and all the other agencies have PR machines....and they get to tell the media the story the way they want it to make it most favorable to them. The artist that wronged the contract and had to therefore end it early has no say because they caused the contract to end because of their actions. They are told early on as trainees they can't do this, they can't do that....managers have to tail them everywhere so they can't get into scandals...but if it still happens.......heads will roll....if you've watched WIN:Who is Next....EVERYONE is scared of YG....he is like a mafia boss...his charisma and presence I mean and how much fear and respect he commands from all the kids.

I agree it is Bs as a fan of B.i since 2021 how YG treated Him was disgusting he got attacked by many netizens online he got alot of hate over it so did IKON they got called names too .the company didn’t care about what he was going through they just wanted him to quit which hurt him and the member’s . And B.i wrote a letter saying sorry to the fans to the members and he said he was embarrassed for his actions and he also said he was fearful and scared so he decided not to take them. He posted it on his Instagram after he quit . I felt so bad for him as he’s so amazingly talented he chose to leave he was not kicked out. He made one mistake. Also IKON left YG .

Let's get all the facts and be fair to all concerned. B.I. was not fired. He quit his company, who then terminated his contract a few hours after his announcement via Instagram of his decision. His former band members were publicly forbidden to contact him. Yet, he continued to contribute in songwriting for his former band and other artists of the same company. It 's more complicated than just being kicked out. HISTORY: B.I. was part YG Entertainment between 2011 - 2019, the same company put together the girl group BlackPink (and is still employing it). B.I. used to be the leader of the boy group IKON. He was a major creative talent of YGE, co-songwriting of ALL of IKON' releases, and for many other big named artists such as BlackPink (lyric credit in "Whistle"). He was named "Songwriter of the Year" in 2018 for the instant classic "Love Scenario". The DRUG ALLEGATION: in 2019, a magazine released a story about B.I.'s attempt to buy illegal drugs from a dealer in 2016, while being an employee of YGE. Following this, B.I posted on his personal Instagram account an apology, acknowledgement of some of the allegations, explaining that he was going "through a hard and painful time", and announcement of his departure from IKON. A few hours later, YGE confirmed that he had indeed left the group and terminated his exclusive contract. At the same time, the company was facing many allegations of money laundering, illegal gambling, sexual service crimes, covering up crimes (including B.I.'s "crimes"), and was losing big-named artists. If not primarily for BlackPink's rising commercial successes, the company could have collapsed that year. As formentioned, B.I. continued to write 4 - 5 songs for IKON after leaving YGE. In 2021, B.I. was indicted without detention for violating some of S. Korea's drug laws, all relating to this scandal. He pleaded guilty to all charges, and displayed remorse about the whole thing (sincerely, I believe). Except for one major artist ending up going to jail, all involved have survived and recovered from the ordeals of 2019. B.I. has his own entertainment company, and is still loved by many around the world who recognize that he is just a flawed human being like the rest of us, and who is still struggling with a major depressive disorder. So, you see, it does not matter how the leaders of YGE felt about the "sins" of B.I., one of their major creative forces, they had to do what they did at the time. And for the sakes of BlackPink, IKON, Winners, AKMU, and many other artists innocent of all the messes, I am glad YGE survives.

BOBBY left IKON and YG on his own terms after ending his contract probably to pursue his solo career and his own life as he is married now and has a child as well..
B.I Well his case was more complicated.. a girl who is commonly known among kpop fans, an ex-YG trainee who is nicknamed the idol-killer had leaked msg chats of her and B.I, I think years after his debut even though the msg he sent were from his pre-debut time so wayyy long ago but she released them when he was reaching the height in his career and it revealed that he had tried to purchase drugs from her and he did actually ask but he never ended up actually buying or taking them.. it was during the time he was in a very dark place with loads of stress and pressure put on him which made him try to purchase these drugs...
anyways after the investigation, he made his statement that he is guilty of trying to purchase the drugs but he had never taken any and he was tested obviously and was negative even on probation he didn't have any issues, at the end he was innocent he never did any drugs.. but his image in public was already ruined thanks to that girl (who btw got arrested for actually doing drugs while she was already on probation, she is from a rich family which is why she easily gets away from all the bullshit she has done in the past)
Anyways damage control in kpop to companies is usually dealt with by removing the member people aren't really sure if he left on his own terms or if YG kicked him out cus many fans think YG kicked him out, Tbh i feel he himself left cus he felt that his image is done and the group's image as a whole is getting affected as well. or maybe he felt like idol life wasn't for him since he can do well on his own as an Artist with more freedom maybe that's why..

So many people in the chat and in the comment section that are clueless about what really happened with B.I and just spouting nonsense, go do some research lol he did nothing wrong anyway so
Not with his band member, just him. He got caught, was kicked out from the group where he was the Leader. Also the fact that he produced a Lot of their stuff, it had a huge impact. In my opinion, it was 100% the companys loss.
No B.i didn’t get kicked out he choose to leave he said in his apology letter no one made him quit he was getting a lot of hate for it and it was too much for him he wasn’t in a good place during that time after it resurfaced.
