SHINee a concert is something you should see at least once in your life. Their vocals and live dance is just crazy.

I wish. Seeing them live one day would be amazing
"Ring Ding Dong" -- which is a classic in the Kpop industry that originally was released in 2009 -- was the opening song of that set. Right before this, Taemin had performed his solo song "Goodbye (Sayonara Hitori)" while the other members were changing their clothes, so if you notice, you don't see him in the beginning because it took him a little longer to get redressed. However, you can still hear Taemin's voice in the beginning of the song because he was actually singing his lines while finishing getting ready from backstage. You see him pop up from underneath the stage and join them a few seconds into the performance. That's how good they are at what they do. They still give 110% no matter what, and sound perfect even while multitasking. ;)
And, if you watch this full concert, you will see that their "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer" set is about 1 hour and 20 minutes into their 3 1/2 hour concert. This just shows you how powerful they are from beginning to end.

This concert was SHINee's SHINee World Concert V (SWC5) in Seoul, so it was in 2016. You can tell this concert is in 2016 because Minho has gray hair, which means this was during their "1 Of 1" promotions, which was their title track from their comeback in 2016. You will see they have the same look and style in their "1 of 1" MV. Minho dyes his hair so infrequently, and each of the member's hairstyles usually change so dramatically for every comeback because of their effort to continually be trendy, that you often can tell what era something is part of just by the members' hair colors and styles.
This was their 5th world tour -- and at this point they had already held more than 100 concerts in their career. So Onew and Jonghyun were about 27, Minho and Key were about 25 and Taemin was around 23.
If you are impressed with Jonghyun's long high note in "Lucifer" -- which is about 20 seconds long -- just wait. Jonghyun is known for his amazing vocal abilities that is why he is considered one of the BEST vocalists of all time. What you just heard is normal when it comes to Jonghyun, especially when he performs live. However, although Jonghyun has some impressive high notes, it doesn't even come close to what Onew can do. Check out Onew's performance of "Friend," where he broke the record for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, at 40+ seconds. All the members of SHINee can hit impressive high notes. Even Minho who is the main rapper and the one with the deepest voice out of all of them, has been known to hit some amazing high notes on occasion. SHINee are considered vocal powerhouses for a reason.
What you just heard was the remixed version of "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer," so you might notice they sound a little different than what you will hear in the MVs for both of these songs. SHINee never performs a song the same way twice, so it's always a new experience no matter how many times you have seen or heard them perform the song. That's why SHINee concerts are considered one of the best concerts in the world.
SHINee live are always 300 times better than any of their studio recordings, and it's almost guaranteed that if someone doesn't vibe with one of their songs right away, the minute they see them perform it live, they gain a whole new appreciation for he song and it almost always becomes their new favorite. It's called the SHINee effect. That's why their live performances are considered the top in the industry.
What you just experienced is why, even as rookies, SHINee was so highly respected by everyone, including their seniors. Their live vocal ability while performing intense choreography was something no one else was doing at the time, and people were blown away by how perfect their singing and harmonies were. Even still today, SHINee is the group that everyone looks up to and wants to be like.

I attended SM town concert back in 2011, even though I was ELF (Super Junior fan), I was absolutely blown away by SHINee's performance. They also performed Ring Ding Dong and Lucifer in there and Jonghyun's live vocals is something that I'll never forget.
I wasn't able to be this happy watching Shinee since Jonghyun is no longer here. I couldn't listen to them without finding myself sad and crying. But now, thanks to you, Anthony, I was able to watch them again and enjoy it. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!! ❤❤❤
Yeah, Ring Ding Dong is a bit of a meme song (in that it's legendary K-pop but also pretty damn funny) and banned for real during the college exam period in SK. These two songs are among their earliest title tracks, dating from 2009 and 2010; they debuted in 2008 and are still active with four members (Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin) today. And thank you for appreciating Jonghyun! He was an extraordinary artist, singer, dancer, songwriter, and composer.

SHINee are amazing. They are called the Prince of K-pop. They debuted May 2008. The leader Onew was 18 years old at the time, the oldest. Taemin was 14 years old, the youngest. Even though Jonghyun passed away they will always be 5. ❤

Lucifer introduced me to kpop. Shinee introduced me to kpop. I’m so grateful that Shinee was my first group, not only because they are veteran amazing artists but also because Shawols are one of the most respectful and sweet fandoms who like peace and don’t involve in fanwars. They respect other fandoms and are not toxic. Being a shawol myself taught me to look out for and respect other groups too instead of thinking that kpop begins and ends with the only group that I stan.
Now I’m also an EXO-L, NCTzen, STAY but I’m glad I started as a Shawol ❤

Shinee is superb showmanship. Their older songs started out RnB and retro with sometimes even musical like qualities. Their newer singles are more in the style of SM 's other group NCT but their b sides retain their previous style's charm.

The one with the powerful voice you mentioned a few times is jonghyun. His solo music is also really amazing you should check it out. Some of my favorites of his are Moon, crazy, cocktail and y si fuera ella. For the last one is the live performance especially incredible
Jonghyun Oppa❤was one the most powerful and respected kpop idol singers in history and when he passed their industry suddenly became silent since then and I personally believe there will never be another singer like him plus his bandmates decided to stay and continue the group as four in His honor because its what he would’ve wanted and their bond is closer than ever between them today as one. Fun fact: Lucifer was just named #16 by Rolling Stones on their list of the 100 Greatest Songs in the History of Korean Music. Also, the Dance Practice for LUCIFER is what kickstarted dance practices being popular. Besides being at the iconic SM cloud-backed practice room, there’s Taemin’s iconic trippy t-shirt and the toilet paper marker. LOL.
Lucifer was the first time SHINee was given significant input into the creative direction of their album, from music to styling. Obviously, they did well-they helped change the public’s perception of idols and brought KPOP even further into the global market.
