Hey Will. Well, guess you had to straighten up and fly right with the admiral on board. lol. It's pretty nice that you two get along so well.... well, at least are able to tolerate each other for a few days anyway. Thanks for another one. Take care. 👍👍
10.5 tog in August, I use a 4.5 tog usually till at least the end of September. This is why when I get a boat(soon) it will have to have room for a full size washer/dryer, £12 to wash 😮. That's the trouble with small 2-3kw generators they're only putting a max of 12 amps an hour into the battery. He'd be better off installing a 140 amp or bigger alternator( purpose marine one for low rpm) on his engine and running it for a fraction of the time. Thanks for the vid
I moored in exactly the same spot in Garstang... I'll bore you about it in every vlog now you're heading back towards Lancaster. "Yep, moored there". "Moored just a bit further up from there" 🥱😂 Hope Leon finds a good new boat. Welcome back, Shui 😄
Morning Will. Nice to see Shui organising you. Seems to have a permanent smile, at least on camera.😂😂. Ironic comment that about puttimg the old duvet in the canal like everyone else, you need to throw the matress in as well. I can vouch this happens from meeting a boat in Picadilly Manchester with one attached to its propeller. Sure yoi know that. Went down the Coventry arm some years ago, heard horrible things about it but it was alright. Another fellow hireboater got a sarong on their propeller.☹. Cheers 👍👍. Paul.
Its a shame you and Shui spend so much time apart, when its so obvious you enjoy each others company and still love one another. Life is short, time is precious, spend it wisely. Love to you both
Lovely to see you again Shui. Will, why don't you stay with Shui over the winter months, some winters are total torture on the canal, I wonder if you'll survive. Take care you two.
Hi will i see that you have company again which is great to see.. the boat that you looked at is vastly overpriced.mate ..in my humble opinion.. I have seen better than that on boat sale sites.. for a lot less money..to be honest if I was Leon I would hang on till the end of the year . My experience is that people become desperate to sell their boats after experiencing their first winter on the canals.. and rivers I have seen this happen time after time. Over the years.. Anyway will keep smiling and keep yourself safe and well mate. Filthy thumbs up 👍 👍 👍.
I never got used to the smell of the pigs and it gets in your skin .Even after two baths ,when you warm up you notice people moving away 🤢😂Love the duvet sketch.
£9000 for that Freeman 22! That's top dollar for a 55 year old yoghurt pot. I picked one up for £3000 and put a new canopy on it. Nice boats but no shower, I got one with a Perkins diesel 4107.
This is a Freeman 26 - there are currently 2 of these for sale in a marina a stone's throw away from this boat - one is 11.5k, the other is 15.5k and has a petrol engine. For 3k you will not get a floating shed in these here parts.
@@ocean686 Well I'm sitting in one now. Paid £3200 for it to be precise and that's with a full 4 years BSS. I see no real difference in the cabin layout between that 26' and a 22'. I wouldn't pay the extra £6k for a slightly bigger cockpit and a petrol engine. It's not what the boat is up for it's what people are prepared to pay for it. I'm seeing much better boats in this brokerage for £8k - £10k in my opinion. Rather look on Apollo Duck.
Lol to funny with the quilt factory going on. I didn't think you would get moving after that shopping spree. Nothing wrong with smoking a bit of weed Will. All in moderation. You never smoke the stuff so how do you know how strong it is lol. Nothing like a cold beer and a smoke after a hard days work.....not that I agree with over use.
I've been a heavy drug user for many years. I went through re hab so I do have a lot of experience. In the old days people would chill out but now I see more aggression from weed heads. The moderate smokers who go to work are fine. It's the dawn till dusk people that have real problems. Thanks for stopping by. 👍

Agreed on all counts. Thanks
Yes winter, the cold short days, collecting wood and coal, mud and hot water bottles, condensation on the windows need I say more.
Yep. That sums it up nicely Tim. 👌
I love your vlogs but I’m always very excited when Sui shows up - she’s blummin excellent 🥰

I do like Garstang. Such a great little town. I've enjoyed the lanky.
Shui is priceless company❤, glad to see her on the boat.🎉

I totally agree. The winter is the best time to buy a boat.
Sell in the spring and buy in the winter.

plenty of places to get blue latex gloves for food

Pig piss = adblue for diesel engine emissions
That ad blue is another fuel tax. I've heard it was made of pee. 😂 🤣
Did that water drip off the bonnet Will when you opened it?
Possible, I guess. I'm paranoid now because it's a serious fault with these vans.
