- Lucille Ball, The Undisputed Queen of TV Comedy stars in her hilarious follow-up to I Love Lucy!
LUCY THE BEAN QUEEN: Lucy finds a sale on beans that guarantee to be "the best beans you've ever eaten or double your money back." Needing money for new furniture, Lucy and Mary Jane keep buying and returning more and more beans until they have collected $1,500. Little does Lucy know that Mr. Mooney is helping to sell them.
I love Lucy's work clothes. Very chic, stylish and timeless. Who does not love Lucy?!?
After more than 50 years, we still love Lucy!
She actually wore Gucci
I saw it a the Metropolitan!
They had her suits
She was also wore very stylish clothes on I Love Lucy. From what I've read, they were her actual personal clothes from her closets at home and not part of the studio wardrobe. I heard she that that both to look stylish AND to save money on the budget for the show.
Lucille Ball was Absolutely a QUEEN!!!! I LOVED HER 😍💞😄 RIP Dear Sweet Heart!!!!
Just a lovely comment.
Comedic genius and way ahead of her time
The Lucy Show was part of my Growing up years as a Teenager.
Never missed an Episode.
It was the Best Show on Television in India.
The Full Family watched it n enjoyed all the Episodes.
Brings back so many Memories.
Thank you for Downloading it.
Did you watch I Love Lucy?
"I wouldn't cosign a $1500 loan for my mother, and I like HER!" 🤣🤣🤣
Lucy and Gale were great friends in real life. They had great chemistry.
I heard she wanted him to play Fred Mertz
She did but he was committed to another show.
@@solemandd67 Did not know that. I did hear Desi wanted William Frawley and went to bats for him. Lucy was the one who had her doubts about him.
@@m.e.d.7997 They met in their radio days: (The Wonder Years 1938-1939) then In My Favorite Husband Gale Gordon was her husband's boss. However, he could not take the role of Fred Mertz as he already was contracted for another show. (Our Miss Brooks with Eve Arden) Also, he would not have been appropriate for that role - Fred Mertz was perfect.
William Frawley was perfect in the role of Fred Mertz.
Kindest greetings! This is the VERY episode I have been wanting to find. I watched it only once in my pre-teen years in Puerto Rico. Decades later I got several videos (yes, videos) from "The Lucy Show", but this one was not a part of them. My children became really crazy about Lucy, with her unique fun. I have always remembered this particular episode as a great lesson on honesty. Could it be the reason for the dislikes? To me, it was a very wise screenplay and a lovely show that have always stayed within me. Thanks for posting it!
I not only love Lucy
I adore Mr Mooney and Vivian Vance as well.
I simply have to watch at least 2/3 episodes every single night at bed time...
And go to sleep laughing!😂
My favourite episodes are Lucy and the ring..
A flight to London with Mr Mooney
And Lucy and Dean Martin on a date...😂😂😂
She certainly was & still is a queen of comedy. Am just amazed at how her funniness (and beauty!) endures across the decades, who says a woman can't be beautiful and funny at the same time, Lucy set the standard!
I haven't seen this show for years. It brings back memories of Dad and I watching this back in the day , when television shows were really funny. I forgot how much I Love Lucy. ❤️
I like what you did at the end😅
Say "I love Lucy" while the show is named I love lucy😅
We all love Lucy though she's the best
Gale Gorden was a brilliant actor. Perfect foil for Lucy!
instaBlaster...
He is to loud for my ears 😆
@@madeleine9907 Lucy taught Richard Burton how to act comedy when he guested on her show: shout as loud as you can. She likely insisted everyone yell their lines as she did.
Lucy always makes me smile 💘 no matter what 🤣. I miss ricky, fred and ethel though 😢
Lucy helps me trough a very difficult time. I have problems with my left eye. I can see nothing and today i went for churgery. The operation was not easy but i manager it. It hurts so much..........but looking to Lucy........... i can handle the pain . Lucy makes me always laugh. Crazy Lucy 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Lucy had so much energy: she was 4O when I LOVE LUCY premiered and here, she's in her mid-fifties: kept in shape, didn't she?
Yes and her clothes I love it ...
If anything, she got skinnier
Well, my goodness. While that may have been quite old back in the 50s and 60s, it still wasn’t like 80.
@@bdjoh011 That's true and the older I get I think a certain age is "younger"...
She wore her clothes beautifully. Gorgeous legs!
It's 2021, Lucy is still getting New Fans 🤩... I can't stop binge watching her 😂🤣😂 She was absolutely GREAT¡!¡!✨⭐✨⭐✨⭐✨🤍✨🤍
"I Love Lucy" Too💓💜💓
LOL at her driving the forklift. The Lucy Show was underrated.
It was pretty popular at the time. You just do not see it today like the ILL show.
Lucy is comfort tv ❤️
YEP! ..... AND THIS EPISODE ...... WAS VERY LOL!
The funniest thing is to see them beans being ‘ripped off’ the shelves at high speed! So Lucy got herself some fancy new ‘beanitures’. At the end Lucy decided that Bailey’s beans are the best beans she ever tasted, Yep, I meant it, sorry Bush’s.!😂
That's exactly what I feel
I will always love Lucy she is the best
ME TOO! ......
Best show I ever saw .clean sense able work .and every type of age person can watch with his family also I testimony this episode . and I write with my deep heart .Thanks for making such a wonderful episode for us . I wish this type of episodes will come again and again. Because .the shows must go on. Thanks once again to make me laugh

This was the episode that got me hooked on Lucy 11 years ago!
I Love Lucy began about the time I was a small child and I have always loved her. To be honest my very favorite of her shows is The Lucy Show with Vivian Vance. I found Viva to be hysterically funny! IMO she and Lucy were much more comical than Lucy and Ricky. Viv had the greatest humor in her facial expressions alone. I think I read that Lucy’s shows have been showing somewhere in the world . Who else can say that? There was only one Lucille Ball and there will never be another. IMO there’s not much on television that appeals to me or has violence, abuse, foul language, immorality of every imaginable kind. Lucy brought me joy as a little girl and continues to bring me joy in my senior years. I still love Lucy and I don’t see that changing as long as I am in this world. I also think Vivian Vance deserves a lot more credit than she gets. Lucy and Vivian, RIP. ❤️
Lucy was certainly a queen, queen of comedy.
I love this show I watched it when I was a kid and I still like it and I am 52 I wish they would bring it back
How? Everyone died
@Brandon Davidson "Bringing back" a show does not mean making more. And why do that when they are already done? The concept is called reruns. THAT is what was meant.
🤭🤭🤭. I'm 55, and LOVE ❤️ Watching THESE Episodes 👍👍👍🤣
Great family show, great memories of life
She is absolutely delightfully adorable
My mum used to ask me to watch Lucy with her when I was little. Now I try to persuade my daughter to watch it but she lives in another country.
There’s an app called Rave, you could get it and watch it together internationally
Mr moony is my favorite I love he's character and grumpiness hahahahha...who is watching it now ? Sep 23 2020
Me but it's Sept 2022.
@@toddsmith1617no, it's January 2024 .
I can remember this from when I was a kid. “These are the best beans I’ve ever tasted!” Fun show!
I love Lucy's shows.
Funny and entertaining..the best sitcoms i enjoyed back then were "i love Lucy, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Laverne and Shirley.
My absolute favourite episode. LOVE MY BAKED BEANS!!! And love our lovely Lucy.
Love Lucy an icon she could stand by a stop sign and still be hilarious
I love when Lucy talks in the southern accent, such a great ep
Another "bring-along" from "I Love Lucy": Bennett Green, billed in this ep as the "2nd Delivery Man," was Desi Arnaz's stand-in on "ILL," and was an extra in several episodes, just as he played a handful of bit parts in "The Lucy Show!" Lucy was loyal, that's for sure!
Her double from ILL Hazel Pierce also appears in many episodes and she's usually paired up with Green.
@@kaykutcher2103 Nice! Did not know that, as I've never been the most avid post-ILL viewer! Thanks for that, Kay!😉👍
@@bradsmack1 Cheers. I'm the exact opposite. Have yet to watch ILL or the Lucy Desi Comedy Hour it's thanks to these public domain episodes of her later shows that I discovered Lucille Ball since in my country her work isn't very well known.
I’m so happy these are on youtube I enjoy watching this beautiful funny woman
She was wonderful and this episode always makes me wanna eat BBQ beans! 😋😋😄
I love Lucy 😂 a very nice and funny woman!!!! 😊
She was trying to get new furniture on I love Lucy as well, several times.... she's still trying on this show. Lol....not to mention when she tried to reupholster the chair for Ethel and Fred 💛🧡💛😂
I don't know any other idiots You're the only one I know
I never get tired of Lucy😂😂😂😂 to this day she makes me roll of the floor laughing
Gale Gordan was an outstanding supporter actor
So true.
yes too funny
He was suppose to play Fred mertiz
C.O.R.E Nyc I didn’t know that! Honestly I think William Frawley fit the character better. Still love Gale Gordon!!!
He sure is loud
We never had these shows on
South african t v. Only discovered this in two thousand.and twenty three thanks for uploading. Helps. Me to get through some bad days. Im seventy four and a old crock
hurrah!!! This was the one plot that I remembered from this show, and I found it. Just as funny when I saw it over 50 years ago.
I love her shows. Always made me laff
Laugh*
Comedy at it's very best!
That Colonial Bailey was just like my Papaw Roy!!! LOL!!
It's true...
They really don't make good stuff like this anymore..
love you Lucy... very great show
.
I still find Lucy hilarious. It is the horror year 2020
It is the horror year alright!!!

Here in July 2024 enjoying these gems!
I am glad I saw this show new, as a child. Just watching it reminds me of my childhood. Alot of famous stars were on it, including John Wayne. The color sitcom, Here's Lucy, was also funny, it had Lucy's real life 2 kids in it, they played her kids on the show, as teens and later in college. The Lucy Show was the funniest, though.
This is what I call family smart show.
Darling Lucy always lands on her feet. 😂❤😊
8:50 "It is never okay to waste mo(o)ney".
Love Mary Jane Croft!
great days looking at Lucy and co
how nice....MaryJane felt happy for her friend Lucy to be the bean queen, not like the modern friends who feel jealous or bad when something nice happens to "friends"
AMEN 🙏 JEALOUSY IS DEMONIC LOVE JESUS FIRST THEN LOVE THY NEIGHBOR IN JESUS'S MIGHTY NAME AMEN.
Lucille Ball was 55 years old at that time and was as light on her feet as a 25 year old. What an incredible lady.
I adore Mr. Mooney!!! ❤️❤️❤️
when Lucy turns on the "Suthun Bell" routine with the colonial, that was excellent Psychology on her part, the "Shes one of Us" Gambit
This show is addicting.hhaahhah
Those beans must be delicious 😋 like this show …
You have a lovely profile picture
16 minutes in, Lucy quotes Maxuel Smart!
So hilarious 😂 long live the bean queen 👑
This show wasn’t the same after Vivian left. But it was still hilarious
It's funny how the quality did go down, bu the ratings went up.
What happun to Ethel
She did not play Ethel Mertz on The Lucy Show. Her character was named Vivian Bagley. This show had nothing to do with I Love Lucy.
bbcola11111 Basically the same character! Just slap a different name on her!!
@@poketube6224 she got tired of flying back and forth from her home and the shows location.
One of my female friends calls me "Mr. Mooney" because she claims I'm so cheap!
lol Fred Mertz was too. Vivien Vance did not like Frawley being cast as her husband. SHE likely would have preferred Gayle Gordon and they would have made a fine pair on screen.
@@m.e.d.7997 Viv guest starred several times on Here's Lucy which also featured Gale as regular cast member. Her character there is so desperate to find a husband she constantly attempts to flirt with him and you get a glimpse into that "what if" Gale would've been available to portray Fred Mertz. A bigger "what if" is Bea Benaderet as Ethel Mertz.
@@m.e.d.7997 she and Frawley couldn't stand each other. You would have never k own it in their scenes together. That's how professional they were.
@@chaswr Yep pretty much the same with Andy Griffith and Frances Bavier She did not like Andy and was not that nice to him. Do not think he hated her but the relationship was tense.
@@m.e.d.7997 yes I have heard that about AG and FB! Re VV and WF I've heard that VV was dining out when she got word of his death and said "Drinks for everyone!" Don't know if that's true or not
I love Lucy
so do i
Me three!

"rome wasn't built in one day you know"
"we're not in a construction business!"
"dont worry we will get to the bottom of this"
"we are already at the bottom of it!"
I love Lucy!!!!
There turn her house into a warehouse of beans 😂
1,500 for new furniture. Lol
This episode always makes me want to eat beans so bad!!! :D
8:10 Mr. Mooney🤣😂
Lucy the Bean Queen Great episode
Aaah, back when stamps were 5 cents... Can't even imagine that now!
How interesting... It is hard to imagine that! But that's inflation for you, I guess!
Aaah, back when stamps were 5 cents...and arrived at the proper address within two or three days!
Remember Yours, Mine, and Ours when Helen and Frank went grocery shopping and they filled several shopping carts and it came out to around $130.00? I just came home with 1 shopping cart full and it cost $140.00. I always laugh at that part of the movie. That and when Frank's boys get her sloshed at the Beardsly dinner.
I remember when they went from 10 cents to 13. That's as far back as I go.
THIRD time the "Bean Theme" plot was used. It appeared first on "My Favorite Husband", then on "I love Lucy", and now here.....
There was no beans episode on I LOVE LUCY.
Don't watch this hungry...I really want baked beans now
her hair and makeup look as if she's going to tell Mr Mooney that she's married to England
She was the Queen of comedy
Lucy looks really pretty in this hsow.
LUCY and Gale Gordon were in show business together for years. I don't know about the off stage relationship but, I hope it was cooperative.
I always love Lucy until I live in this world
Whaaaatt?🤔
I adore her ❤
I guess this was before you needed a receipt to get a refund. 😏

Wait if Lucy is the face of "Bailey's BBQ Beans" she'll make a lot of money and not have to work anymore for Mr. Mooney? Her face used on billboards is just the start. Mooney will make $$$ too since he's an investor.
Addison the sales manager isn’t worth his weight in pennies. He should have advised Bailey that this double your money back was an insane idea and would bankrupt the business.
very good quality
A good timepass show
She is so funny ☆
I miss this show 😢💗
We all do. I remember watching it best when I stayed home from school with the flu. This and The Beverly Hillbillies.
Thank you.
We stand behind every bean (C) ))))))))
18:37 All those cans of beans. Let's have a farty!
She is sooooooooooooooooooo funny 🤣😂😂😂😂🥳🥳🥳🥳📺📺📺
Oh, she was a sly one 😉
"Bailey's Bean Queen".
Alout of beans ahahajhaha
Not gonna lie. Makes me wanna eat a can of beans lol
Better than Here's Lucy.
Why the screaming
@@feroziadollie6678 what screaming?
@@feroziadollie6678 For some reason, Lucy got the idea that she needed to project to the audience, forgetting that they had microphones. You will notice that shortly after returning to television after starring on Broadway in WILD CAT, her voice became hoarse. She damaged her vocal chords while on Broadway. Instead of using her diaphram to project to the audience, she used her throat. It's odd that the Director of the show did not talk to her about that.
i love lucy so much
Awesome
Colonel Bailey...a joke on Colonel Sanders of Kentucky Fried Chicken
