I bought this phone as a Christmas gift to myself in December 2023 for me to use as a backup/work phone but it soon became my DAILY DRIVER. I was still using an S20 as my personal phone (now upgraded to an S24U) but the Think Phone is still being used daily and I love it so much. The cameras are okay (I use my S24U now if I really need a good photo) but everything else that the Think Phone offers cannot be matched IMO. The Moto features have been very useful and practical for every day use such as the double chop for flashlight, double tap the back to open up an app (the calculator for me), the double press on the power button and the flick of the wrist features to open the camera and not to mention: the red Lenovo Think Button on the side of the phone to open up any app you want (in my case, GPay) this is one of the most practical and useful smartphones on the market right now. And the fact that Lenovo/Motorola has guaranteed THREE OS updates and FOUR years of security updates for this device is the icing on the cake!
Motorola makes GREAT phones for backups/secondary devices and the stock Android experience with Moto features can't be beat.

I just picked one up last week. I love this phone! The smart connect app on my pc really unlocked this phones capabilities for me.
The fast charging is insane, from 10%-100% in like 30 minutes.
The 144hz oled screen is beautiful
It has an amazing build and strong glass. Its waterproof too.
The camera is a huge upgrade compared to my previous phone.
Could not be more satisfied after paying $360 for this phone

I wish it was $400 in EU.. can't find it under 550-600 euros here at the moment

I paid $400 for mine, new, last year.
It's like a sore goober: you can't beat it (ok, you CAN...but it's gonna hurt).
    PERFECT phone.

My son has the Thinkphone and it has been great for him. I paid under $300 for it in Like New condition less than two months ago. He gets more security updates than I do with my phone.
I use the Edge Plus 2023 and I really enjoy it. I prefer the Edge Plus 2023 over the Thinkphone for a couple of reasons: 512gb over the 256gb the Thinkphone has, and the slightly faster processor, since I heavily use my phone for work. The Edge also has a physical Sim card slot and an esim. You can't go wrong with either phone.

I have one I really like this one especially when the price drop to 399 with a charger in the box . I wish the low light camera was better other than that the phone has been a great phone very underrated very overlooked. Also to the update has been consistent more consistent in my Samsung phones

I love a lot of the things about this phone I just wish it had a headphone jack or an SD card since it seems to be pushing utilitarianism so hard. Actually fine with the 8 plus Gen 1 chip. Least it's fabricated by TSMC even though it's not the latest.

It's missing face unlock too. Which pisses me off 😂 but I love the phone

Those two were my biggest gripes too. I was holding out for 5 years waiting for a flagship quality phone with headphone jack and and SD card. The Asus Zenfone was close but too expensive for what it is. I ended up buying this for all the pc features. I'm more than happy with this phone!! The PC compatibility is game changing

It's really really close. Ones older and ones newer and they both end support in 2026...for me

Im looking for a wireless battery for this phone that I can carry in my pocket, any suggestions? Tried Kuula KL YD45 Magnetic battery with a magnetic case but it didn't work (detects charge but wears off after a second), maybe Ill be forced to use a cable

@@helghantech sweet!! thanks for the recommendation! Quick follow up questions if you dont mind:
1- does the bank get too hot when wireless charging?
2- does the bank lock in place magnetically if you use a magnetic case?
3- do you use a magnetic case for your thinkphone?
      Finally but not least
4- seems some wireless banks are compatible with Thinkphone and some arent, do you know how to tell the difference?

    • @helghantech
      @helghantech  6 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      1. Doesn't get hot at least for me
      2. unfortunately I don't use a magnetic case so idk
      3. Again no mag case😭
      4. Idk how to tell the difference to see which are compatible
Tbh I'm not huge on wireless power banks I prefer wired.
