Arkansas drivers seem way better at getting out of the way than in most other states. They see a police car (especially trooper cars) or lights in their rearview mirror and pull off!

Until you have experienced a car coming up on you at 100+mph they are ontop of you and past you before you get a chance to do a proper shoulder check to get out of the way. Or if multiple police cars are in pursuit, as we have seen in other videos, each officer bob's n weaves into a different lane depending on what they are seeing, if you moved over without properly looking it would put you right into the path of another officer.
They come up on you fast and it is hard to judge if they are going to go left or right around you. Make the wrong call and it can take both your cars out killing both of you. I put on my blinker quickly so they know which way I am moving over.

Second: The trooper driving the lead vehicle is driving a patrol car painted in the colors Arkansas state police cars used to have. Personally, I'd love to see the ASP return to that color scheme because the all white look that they've sported for over 30 years just looks so plain Jane compared to other state's state police cars.

They were chasing a 300....literally the same car as a charger. Police packages aren't some supercar stuff. Slightly stiffer springs. Maybe some silicone hoses and a higher output alternator.
That's what you saw on the video. I was just north of where the trooper was sitting when this 300 passed me cutting in and out of traffic. As the 300 continued down the hill they passed over Johnson Hill Blvd, the exit and on ramp just behind the trooper, when he must have finally seen the trooper sitting on the side of the road. He slammed on the brakes and drove with the flow of traffic and until the trooper pulled out I figured he would get away with his reckless driving.
So we all just going to act like we didn't just watch flames towering higher than the car and just miraculously go out? That vehicle could have been completely engulfed and blew up. Blessing right in our faces!
I noticed that too but if you look in the reflection of the Chrysler his lights are on, for some reason the lights bar wasn’t lit up green only mic and siren I don’t think the siren works without the lights on

All patrol versions of cars have column shifters except the Durango which is still the dial but mounted on the dash. My last year in LE was 2017 so that may have changed to a column shift by now, but I doubt it.
The scariest part about watching the video was watching the police go through residential places at 90-plus miles per hour they could have called off the Chase back when they were on the highway.. Thank God no child or person was

I think what I see here he was pulling an Illinois State Trooper trick. They'll sit behind an abandoned car or plant one along the road that makes the cop look preoccupied 😮, until someone whizzes by over the speed limit or their plates come back with warrants, suspended, whatever. Then pull out and on with the blue and reds🚔
Some towns in the US have chases like this outlawed. They said most of the time it’s usually just someone with a little drugs on them. And that chases like this put too many people in danger….

I saw a Florida State Highway Patrol Ford Mustang for sale here in Pennsylvania back in 1998 that had a manual transmission.
They are automatic so they can have a hand on the steering wheel and one on the radio I'm guessing.
They have semis to move crisis trailers
