Somebody finally did "Hunter of The Dark" correctly. I've only recently got back into the music of this series and instantly remembered one of my favorite secret boss themes. The song itself is unique for the series, it's twisted, and terrifying. It gives as much dread as "The Dread of Night" from Dream Drop Distance, but I've found so many remixes of the theme that never went for the twisted horror feeling it conveyed. This is an example of how to do "Hunter of the Dark". Nothing about it is forceful, instead it's a creeping dread with the violins, triangle and tambourines. I can simply imagine the beast carefully stalking as that haunting piano plays, eventually erupting into a controlled frenzy of violin, slinking away in the dark to the sound of the piano. Long story short, Bravo!
Man, have you thought of making some "behind the notes" or something like that showing how you work with all of this? All you work is pretty awesome, and I'll love to learn a few things from composition and orchestration. And I'm sure that some more would also like to see you "in action".
Excellent work as always.I see that The Rage Awakened part still has the same sound tone as the official one(Which i prefer that).But i honestly hoped that you'd put Dismiss in to this remix and made Destati as an intro.But well,don't get serious about this alright.Glad that you are back after a long inactive session.
Most pieces do this sort of "lyrical chanting " that to the ear seems like they're chanting in a different language, while It's possible to make complete words we don't have the programs to do such
