I’ll be there too. I will cry once Enter the Darkness kicks in because it is reminiscent of unbreakable chains. Spent six hours versing Vanitas in BBS on critical because I didn’t understand the melding mechanic and was under leveled D; most memorable moment for me in the series.

They removed the string solo from the Final boss theme lol. I personally liked it lol nevermind, found out that the string solo is in the hero's journey medley
Sammy Lui Strange decision given it’s the only significant original section of the remix. They do play it as a brass section in “Cercatori.” I don’t like the final boss theme but it would have been nice to have the violin before the repeating “Destati” chorus. They removed the iconic “Darkness of the Unknown” violin solo in “Oscurita di Xehanort”, too.
The arranger probably removed it because he realized that Ishimoto used that string climax in like four or five different battle themes in this game and thought it clashed with the rest of the arrangement

A lot if themes had to be shortened or cut because the concert needed to be a set length. It's one think Yoko mentions in some interviews, that she wanted to cram a lot more in there
In an alternate universe this version of The Other Promises is just the regular version theme of Roxas and he beat Sora in kh2 casually. But in all reality all these version are so damn hype this is my new gym workout finisher.

Giuseppe D'angelo I mean you’re probably not wrong 😏 especially in the terms of what I wanted at some point was Sora and Riku/Kairi (or all 3 to do ONE thing together) to fight Xehanort for at least one phase.I expected it to come down to a 1v1 where you get a unique form for only that fight, very much akin to dual wield Roxas from KH2 but with a bigger moveset basically. I kinda hope you can also choose to fight this new nort phase as Sora too tbh.

GrandFinale Spock knows! Have you heard the “Destati” arrangement in the KH3 Staff Credits/“Rhapsody in Tres?” It’s a brilliant fusion of “Destati” and the Organization motif. The choir in it is amazing, and I really wish it had been the final boss music.

And...yeah, you're right, it captures the needed emotional impact combined with the sheer ominous power of Destati in perfect balance. Just needs an extended cut. They had the perfect composition for the last fight and didn't even use it!
The Xehanort music I don't care much for, but I love it in orchestral form. I was mildly disappointed yet amused when 8:08 came up, and they completely skipped that part. Those synth strings in the original are so grating to me, really wanted to hear an orchestral version.
